i used to have long curly robert plant hair. I HATED it. then as I kept cutting it shorter it just got curlier and more poofy. now it's short, but the poof is still their. but the back is straight and flat, but the front is super puffy and curly. i don't get it. how does this work? how do i fix this?

not me but pretty much what it looks like

What about using product to fluff up the back and the sides?

Or use gel to tame the top?

You can get your front hair straight.....or can apply some organic hair gel...

there isnt much you can do unless you don't mind high maintenance. you could straighten the front with a straightening iron every day. you could get the front chemically relaxed or the back permed. i say just rock it because the hair on the guy in that picture is fucking awesome lol. theres nothing wrong with some crazy ass hair.

i suppose you could also just cut it really short, but then you won't look original. embrace that shit, yo. it sets you apart from all the boring crew cut guys out there!

does non-organic hair gel not work?

this post is like one of those recipes that says "mix 3 tablespoons of chocolate, 4 cups of marshmallows, 3 cups of JIF brand peanut butter, and a stick of margarine."

If you keep it short, there isn't enough weight to pull it down. Are you wanting to grow it or keep it short?

    Are you male or female?

i have the same hair, only it's a little more curly. when i cut my hair short, it would do that, but i'd blowdry it with a straightening spray, flat iron it, and use hair spray to keep it smooth. it took 30 minutes to style it though, but it's growing out now. I use a curl mousse and a blowdryer with a diffuser to tame the curls now. Takes me 5 minutes, tops, to style. gel will work. a chemical relaxer works too. i've used one. it'll make your hair a bit more course, but it tames it well. i bought mine from walmart for ten bucks. oglive i think it was called.
