why does the government still feed us lies? they spend billions of dollars per year on the "drug war". only to have no results i just dont understand their lies
YAY MARIJUANA oh. sorry just had to get that out. I've got a theory that involves the big fat ass alcohol industry. Why is it that we can see a commercial about some chick letting a kid die in a pool because she smoked a joint then two slots later see an ad showing what appear to be teenagers in an after wedding party or something getting liquored up on booze on the rooftop of a very high building. There's a pretty cool documentary called 'Grass' narrated by Woody Harrelson that's not only informative but hella fun to watch too.
Well, the government spends billions of tax dollars on the drug war because they make billions more off the so-called "drug war" themselves -- which they pocket -- smuggling drugs into the country illegally. Yes, that's right... the US government -- namely the CIA -- are the biggest traffickers of all illegal drugs coming into the country -- namely cocaine and heroin. Like Mike Ruppert has stated numerous times: Every year $600 billion in illegal drug money flows through Wall Street.
here's one idea. Marijuana, as well as other psychedelic substances, tend to lift the veil of illusion that is over your eyes. Now, if people started waking up, wouldn't it make sense that they would see through the government's lies?
Ah...someone who knows the facts. It's all a front folks. Keeps the people thinking that the government is trying to do something about it, when they're not. They will never cut off the hand that feeds them. Why do you suppose they left the opium fields in Afganistan? Same reason they left the opium fields in Vietnam. And "God"...you make a valid point as well. The last thing the government wants is for people to "wake up" and start questioning what is going on around them. Pot tends to make many people introspective and once they go inside they get a much better picture of what is going on "outside" and they begin to question. The government can't have folks who question their authority too much. They might just start to revolt. Besides, the government knows what's best for you don't ya know...that's why they try to tell you what to eat, what to drink, what to watch on your TV. That's why they want to ban your books, censor your music, and dictate what type of lifestyle is moral and right. It's all for your own good. So just shutup and fall in lockstep line like they want you too...hehehe! Corrupt governments hate free people.
I agree but I wonder how many people will actually talk about it and relay what they find. Just want to relate a story from a govt class that's kind of funny and strange. On the first day of the class I spoke up about legalizing cannabis across the board. Throughout the semester I've tried to bring it back up a few times and even almost had our small group to the point of doing a project on it. BUT, no-one else will speak of it. It's just me flapping my yap. They're all scared. There is a total of 26 people in the class. Out of those 26 people 22 have come up to me in private and relayed that they smoke pot or at least have in their life and they liked it (including the prof). Now, that's crazy. It boggles my mind to be sitting in a room full of people who've (all but 4) all smoked pot yet they have no clue that they're surrounded by others who have too. Even crazier is I'm willing to bet that if I stood up and divulged this info ... they still wouldn't discuss it because of the 4 that haven't. It's all about the 'criminal' label, the dirty image, etc... that's become a black mark on the psyche of anyone willing to explore. It's also, I think, this crazy willingness to let somebody else take the fall in public, then in private secretly agree with them. I don't know, I've been thinking about running it by an old friend who's in psych because that's just nutty.
hi there because when they first decided that it made man tired and not want to do much,(quote from the book) haha chilled out more like...aware they wrote the marijuana papers a report in the 1920s and this convinced the red knecks that man could be better off with out it................. they also tested alot of lsd on soldiers and mentel patiants just for fun...haha to see the effects and were not amused but of cause they lied............ personally i believe its the good weed and they sell the bad weed in packets called fags... we should be allowed to grow this in our house or garden so no one has to visit a dealer....{.but then that would drop crime and in this capitalists system they need crime to show where the tax payers money is going.........}. also its a herb.so it must help humans in some way.. as i know myself on my period , they sell drink and fags . mmm this is strange dont you think that this world allows us to kill ourselves slowly with the fags drink . yet the weed is not for sale................. i would like to see , the weed freed so we can grow it safely .... love n peace from saff
There is another salient point to be made:The "drug war" is also a source of cheap prison labor for the corporate prison machine. In essence,it's the govt's way of illegal money laundering and "legal" slavery.IMHO.
man the government makes me wanna throw up. is the govt in jamaica any better? cause ive been there before and wanna live there.
Do you have any idea what it's like for the average Jamacian? The country has 1 of the highest crime and murder rates in the world and it's a poor place.
Not to mention that much of our budget for the drug war is just spent on fattening up bureaucrat paychecks. (Which is the same for about every gov't agency)
Very good point there... The mere thought of that makes me sick... Also I believe it's keeping themselves in power... I'd bet the majority of people who smoke, also don't support the current regime, so obviously it would be advantageous if they couldn't vote... How to take their votes away? Why make something they commonly do illegal, and so eventually many get felonys, suprise, can't vote anymore... Convenient huh? Of course for the most part, pots not a felony, but the general idea is there...
Oh it's not just the people that smoke weed.Look at it this way for a second:The drug war machine is like a giant fishing net.It grabs up all kinds, they throw little to nothing back.Lock em up,pay them shit, to produce goods=profit.Lock em all up pay the prison system to house them=profit.Lock em all up:total control of a segment (ever increasing)of our population.Parole some out=they keep you under their thumb, waiting to lock you back up.The drug war is super big business for govt.Take away the rights= no voice,no vote.I think they focus on marijuana because for the most part, potheads are an easy target. It's bulky, and it smells, therfore making it easier to find and bust. This is done because theres a lot more pot smokers then hard drug users, AND,,,,,,pigs are lazy. They know we're peacefull and generally easy going, therfore an easy target again.Mega corporate interests also play into the "machine".Bottom line,,,,it sux.Greed and control,,,,,,the name of the game,,,,and the beat goes on...........
Remember, the problem with Cannabis is that it is psycho-active, and doesn't repress our psycho-sexual energy. Instead, Cannabis releases our repressed sexual energy from the pressure boiler of our sub-conscious directly out into our fully awakened consious mind. If allowed to freely express our repressed sexual energy, the entire Hierarchical Civilization of our Primate Sexual Hierarchy would collapse. All our hierarchical institutions of Business, Politics, and Religion, are neurotic manifestations of our repressed sexual energy. In other words, sex by other means. So, unless you want to see the 8,000yr history of our psycho-pathological civilization disappear, you had better support the continuing war against Cannabis.
Interesting post, m6m, very interesting. But please explain more about this sexual energy, and what the purpose of its release is?
The other problem is the government doesn't want to make marijuana legal because they couldn't tax it like cigarettes and alcohol. Unlike cigarettes and alcohol marijuana is very simple to grow. People would grow their own instead of buying it from a store or shop if it was legal. A new report from the Netherlands said that chronic smokers are more likely to have "Bizzare" behavior later in life. I would like to know what is the bizzare behavior.... Only thing I know it does is make me really dislike our government, and how this Country is being run.
Yea. That is another reason why it is illegal. It removes the illusions that you have about our government and society. And if that happened on a massive scale, such as would if legalized, then of course, our pathetic society would crumble.
