Recently I've been researching LSD like crazy. I've taken a great liking to it. I've been smoking weed for a little over a year now and I wanted to try LSD after hearing about it a couple weeks ago. I'm don't believe in most myths about the drug and believe it's safe under a controlled amount. I have some friends that would like to try it for their first time as well. We planned it out and everything. We, the 4 of us, were going to take it at my house when my parents leave for a week. Everything was going smoothly. However, I recently talked to my best friend and real close friends about it. They are strongly against it and suggest I don't do it. They said it will change me and cause me to be more lonely. I'm don't really believe this but I don't want to lose close friends due to this. Any suggestions as to whether I should do it or anything I can say to my friends to make them less angry (kinda) about the topic?
This is a pretty biased place to ask. I think it's one of the most amazing experiences a human being can have. That being said your friends are somewhat correct in that it very well may change you in ways that you can't perceive yourself. It can be very isolating but at the same time it can make you grow as a person in tremendous leaps and bounds. It's not necessarily all good or all bad.
tell us moar about these so called best friends. What do they do ?.,. are they alcoholics, smoke tobacco or on any medications from psychiatrists..
They drink and smoke weed. Large amounts of weed. I recently stopped smoking. They only drink at parties but they some of them smoke 3-5 times a week.
There's your reason why they told you not to take LSD. They want you to fall in line and join the herd, smoke some pot, get drunk and party with them. Typical group mentality. Though I could be wrong, I somewhat doubt it.
Way too biased of a place to ask that. You already know what answers you will get. If you've really researched it and are interested then you'll know if you want to take it over your friends' advice.
Oh, I'm sorry. Let me rephrase what I'm trying to say. I most likely will do it. I am just curious as to just tell them and tell my friends to live with it or just lie about it and do it behind their back.
Do it and then tell them about your experience you had. If you tell them first they may try to freak you out or something, which could really ruin your trip. I've known assholes who have done that to people close to me.
Not wrong.. not wrong at all.. They may even feel threatened by your new awareness. That following them may soon come to an end.. and you will get a life, a girl friend, discover new things they will be missing.. you may feel bad for leaving your old friends. This is because LSD has softened your heart./. They, on the other hand may not even notice youre gone- unless youre a income source - a person that provides them drugs and money for other intoxicants.. They will miss you then.
Well my best friend said I should wait till college because I'm only a junior in high school. My best friend said he will probably take it when he gets to college just not now. I talked to him one day about it randomly and he said to take it at a concert for the first time if I wanted to do acid. After hearing that I don't think he really is making a big deal about it. I just believe everyone else will.
i'd highly recomend trying lsd with your friends if they will try it with you. IMO, you shouldn't just abandon your friends. if you could assure your friends that there is no physical side-effects from lsd and just try to ease some of their paranoia about the drug, then maybe they would be a little more openminded about it. especially when you first start tripping, it can be nice to have people to share the experience with. i tried lsd for my first time at the beginning of second semester jr. year of high school. imo, the tripping at the house while parents are gone for a week sounds perfect.
I wouldn't take it at a concert, 1) for your age, and 2) just not for a first time. Aside from that, you are young, maybe just enjoy your youth for awhile man. LSD will always be here, your best years won't be. You can never go home again.
first time at a concert sounds like a bad idea. being in a safe enviroment your first time can lead to a much better experience.
