I lived in Sarasota Florida for the summer and there wasn't shit for live music in the entire state all summer. Well, some okay local jazz acts, but nothing great. I can't blame them though, florida is quite possibly the worst place in the country to be from june through september - way to f'n hot and humid.

good line up. Lots of great acts - new monsoon is a must see and I've heard great thing about things about Robert Walter's 20th Congress.

Yeh I live near Miami Musician and it's really only like 40 minutes away (at least w/ my driving) so all are free to crash w/ me as well. I have been working on this festival for the past three years and it only keeps getting better. Those who wish to volunteer and get a free ticket go to www.langerado.com and download a volunteer application.

    WOW

I just fell outta my chair. Man, I hope I can make this along with my son. What a great line-up and it sounds like a really 'by the people' event. Can't buy the tickets right now, but maybe some at gate? If crash space is all filled up maybe you guys from Miami can suggest some alternate dirt-cheap locals or even good spots to car crash?

well here is the deal... we don't really expect it to sell out, but there is definitely a possibility seeing as though it's two days this year. and with the crashing thing, we may even be camping at a local camp site, which (IMO) will be much better... i will keep you guys updated as time progresses...

Yeh there is a local campsite but there are also package deals made with local hotels near the festival. Check out the website for more information. Also, there is vendor info for those who wish to sell.

no camping on premise? In my opinion - No onsite camping = no festival for me. While my number one concern with attending a festival is the line up - having good onsite camping truly completes the experience

sorry you have to feel that way man, cause all the heads will surely be camping anyways... so personally i don't see much of a difference. plus it's all bout the music IMO... good music = great festival.

Yeah, but there's just something about waking up from your tent to the sounds of the opening acts, lumbering down shakedown to get some grub and strolling over to the stage. The last thing on earth I want to do after a great day of music is get into a vehicle or have to walk a few miles to my tent or worse yet, hotel room *shudders*

you must not have been among the walkers at conventry :)....did a shitload of walking up and down airport road and it was all worth it but I totally understand what you're saying brother. However, I can pretty much guarentee it'll be all worth it at Langerado. :)
