I have to get a job soon, and I have dreads and piercings.

Are there any other jobs than Hot Topic or Spencer's that will allow you to have piercings? I really want to get a job that allows me to wear my piercings. I could take them out and put them back in after work, but that'd be a real pain in the ass.

 

Many fast food places do. Some nursing homes do also. If you were to work as like, stocking shelves while the stores are closed down, they might allow you to. Factory jobs?

 

I used to work at walgreens with a girl who was pierced up to the high heavens.

 

they sell clear plastic retainers for REALLY cheap online and you can't even see most piercings with them in, including lower ear gauges.

what piercings do you have? some you can just leave out during the interview and all your shifts and they wont close up within a couple hours. You could definitely leave a lip piercing out for extended periods

 

You might check jobs out of the public eye, telemarketing, taking phone orders, working at say a music store. I once worked at a place pulling orders for record stores. Good Luck

good idea, I got a job doing that with piercings in. very shitty job though, I'd rather take my piercings out for a real job than keep piercings in doing telemarketing.

if you do do it though make sure they don't pay you on commission!

I just bought some retainers for my two lip piercings.

I also have a septum piercing. I found a septum retainer online, but I don't know if I should get it. The cheapest ones are all steel, and they say you're supposed to just put them in backwards so that the long parts go in your nostrils. Do you think this would be good for hiding?

use the same kind for your septum that you do your lip, that's what I used in the past
