Fuck the roads, I love the snow! It's great, cars slide all over the place, people fall all over the place, it's like an amusement park, only it lasts for months. Not only that but in what other context could one just build a fort wherever they want? I used to build igloos when I was young, and one year the snow was so deep that my brother and I built tunnels all throughout our very large backyard underneath the snow. It was awesome!
they generally salt the roads well enough here that we don't need to worry about it either. but for some reason, about half the locals still panic and drive 0.0000001 miles per hour down the center of both lanes. i'm not a fan of the snow, but i'm even more upset currently with the fact that my space heater suddenly became a space fan last night.
He may not make it. Both me and him. It's too cold already. Whenever I go outside my skin turns all red and itchy. And I'm not even pale. I wasn't born for this
I'll bring you...I have 3 trucks and each one is a 4 wheel drive..I can go anywhere I want whenever I want
None on the ground here in central Connecticut right now. However, we DID have a trace of wet snow on the morning of November 9th. Meanwhile, a good chunk of New England just got slammed with a nasty wind/rain storm. About 125 air miles to my west and northwest, the rain changed over to snow, slowly inching eastward. Thankfully, it never got past the Hudson River in New York. :sunny:
Van driver **** across the road was out revving it up this morning trying to get his van out of the snow. Amazingly he managed it, now with any luck he will FUCK OFF and park it somewhere else for the rest of the winter.
lucky! awww, i hope you got home ok!! hahaa , yes it would be pretty awful!! it is... but its dangerous. hahaha  im back home now, maybe next time i went to the show, it took sooo long to get there... driving up one of the hills on the motorway (like highway i suppose?? ) and there were three bigs lorrys stuck !!! everyone had to wiggle their way threw them,.. ugh the smell of burning rubber!!!!!! the way home took 2 hours and 30 mins.. it usually take 45mins-1hour , the snow came down heavy but i really liked the show !! i laughed so much a cried!
I fell over in the snow today. I love the snow, but this stupid country can't get it right, everything just stops.
yeah thats the same with me.. if the country didnt come to a halt, i wouldnt mind it so much!! i think it looks sooo preetttyyy.
Well, I like snow, but i hate it after 2 days when it gets compacted to sheet ice and is slippery as hell (I have bad balance) grrr
Snow is very pretty... I enjoy looking at it as long as it doesn't touch me. :frown: The other night we had a mini ice storm. Just enough of it got in the car door so that it wouldn't open (even with de-icer). Then, when it finally was forced open it didn't shut. Awesome start to the day. Eventually it melted and worked properly but not before we were late for work by almost half an hour...
