EVERY ideology is 19th century thinking, and we're still screwing ourselves with it. capitalism (to which communism was a much needed attempt to respond, however far it may have missed the mark) being absolutely no exception.

 

Uh, so that 1 person out of 10 knows that 30% of online statistics are true?

Do I need to get my calculator out? Sorry it is covered with dust.

 

Statistics used by myself are not raw.
They are just one input of many that results in 'statistical average.'

Ie 19% of people die from smoking. No... %100 of people die from death
and without smoking 10 to 15% would not die so quickly.
Smoking does not kill.. cancer kills

With smoking the sum total of people who get cancer rises sharply by 10 to 15 %.
With petrol driven transport the number rises by 5 to 8%

common sense 'exit stage left'
