Fems dating Fems and Butch dating butch....

Hmm, softball seems to be what folks my way tend to refer to as "tomboy" (though, tomboy also tends to encompass girls who are perfectly straight, too).

I'm a femme and my Mistress would prolly fall within the term "softball." She's very tomboy-ish, tends towards androgyny in everyday life, but loves to look gorgeous and sexy, too, on occasions.

Of course, it's harder to use clothes to define femme/butch/etc when you lean strongly towards nudism.


I've seen quite a few butch/butch couples around my campus, though at least one of those butch girls tends to run the gambit of butch/femme for how she presents herself.

And I, myself, am often most physically attracted by very femme girls, but can't say I'd pass up a cute boyish-looking gal. I love bishounen, especially when they've actually got vaginas.

 

I really don't think you should listen to drivel like that. There aren't lesbian "rules", be with whom ever you like.

You might not be into the butch/femme, but I think you would be surprised to find that lesbians in this dynamic cop a lot of flack as well. Each to their own. :sunny:

 

That is very true. The femmes in that dynamic especially, cop a lot of flak. A lot of people question why a feminine woman would choose to be with a woman who looks like a man, (butch) when she can have the "real thing" instead.

Ive never heard of the term "softball", but it is probably used in place of "tomboy", as it used exclusively for lesbians. Whereas tomboy can and usually does, refer to straight women. Im classed as a tomboy, and Im straight, so that's probably why a more specific term for a lesbian with a tomboyish appearance was created.

I'm new to being a lesbian so I'm really not sure about the terms. Honestly, if you and your girl are happy then I believe that is the only thing that matters

 

Im very femme ! where as my gf works in an enviroment where she looks like a tomboy. when we go out she is all fem and really beautiful!

I am attracted to more butch looking girls too, i guess that whatever "type" of girl im attracted to is coz of her individuality and not weather shes butch or femme, no labels this side , just be happy !!!
