If that reality star is our next president, we deserve all the terrorists we can get.

Getting promoted beyond your level of competence is one of the most common and costly mistakes in the business world. Seems to hold true in government too.

I would be happy if she stuck to helping Todd gut fish and hang them out to dry and spend more time keeping an eye on her kids (she admitted that herself).

She's already working way beyond the level of her competence! She's in way over her head and doesn't have sense enough to know it!

The way politicians typically get rid of a rival is to appoint him/her as ambassador to some tiny remote country where they have virtually no access to the media.

    a) she didn't actually write the book, did she?

    b) she gets paid money to speak to groups because she's a celebrity

She's a celebrity due to a fluke, John McCain's lapse in judgment in picking her as his running mate. Since then she's exploited her celebrity thoroughly. The woman is clearly unfit to lead. If she's a bright woman she damn sure has difficulty coming across as one.

So is President Obama. He seems to think there are 57 states in the country. Or was it 59, I don't remember.

But none of that really matters. I wouldn't care that Obama doesn't know how many states are in the country, or that Sarah makes a slip of the tongue if their policies are basically correct and their ideas make sense. And between Palin and Obama only one of them has good ideas that will move the country forward, be good for the majority of American people and ideas that make sense. And she is not in power.

I don't know about Sarah's grasp of English, but I think she would be forgiven if she meant to be using "sanction" as in

    4.
    Law .
    a.
a provision of a law enacting a penalty for disobedience or a reward for obedience.
    b.
    the penalty or reward.
    5.
International Law . action by one or more states toward another state calculated to force it to comply with legal obligations.

    8.
to impose a sanction on; penalize, esp. by way of discipline.

Basically what I'm saying is "BIG FREAKIN DEAL!!" On aggregate we would be better off right now if she was in the VP's office than Biden. Well, actually, I don't know, maybe not. She might resign after two years.
