http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/24/business/economy/24econ.html I mean we're rich, but not "give you back your job" rich.
you know, if we'd just stop taxing the rich, then they'd have enough money to hire us as they'd need extra gardeners, pool cleaners, car washers . . .
you cannot be serious.......bro all i can say is we need to tax the rich as much as possible or us lil people are gunna have to pick up the tab for anything the g'ment needs us to....you know if the rich would have thought about what might happen if they lose their money they might have acted like smart rich people and bought within means of any crisis....hell your rich you can buy whatever....how bout buying smart, it pays off ...pun intended! Lots of rich live in that bubble and sometimes it needs to be popped.....never thinking their coming down...lmao.
Yup, that's that there "Trickle Down" effect deys allsways talkin' bout! You know the one that requires you to get "Down" on your knees to your economic superiors and suck them off. Then after they're done coming in your face, it "trickles down" to your mouth where you get to lick the few drops of pleasure they've given you... Enjoy the suck and the trickle, cause you've been fucked out of a decent life. Enjoy the Class War cause we're losing big time...
It's a recipe for big profits to push a reduced work force and refuse to rehire on the justification that things are uncertain. If there was no political fallout from unemployment the government wouldn't go to the effort of pretending to give the slightest fuck about it. What they see is just another crisis with their challenge being how best to take advantage of it. It's really not likely that any favor a resolution any time soon.
no skip, class war only refers to income levelling, never income disparity doncha watch the televisions?
Thank the day......obviously not yours.....nope not like my "punning" story...easy does it wica wica whaa....you know the sound the turntable makes when your scatchin...."its reeeaaly freeeeeeesh"
So much for democracy! We live in a Plutocracy in America. The rich are getting richer, The gulf between the poor and the wealthy is larger than it has ever been, and growing daily. There is no way to stop it. You can not put professional politicians in the government because they all take money from the wealthy. The only thing left to do is DROP OUT. Find a small group of like minded friends and learn to live below the poverty line and self-sufficient on some land. Otherwise you'll just be part of the masses that support the runaway plutocracy.
If the working population could be counted on to participate in a general strike then things might change... but this seems the perfect system and culture to ensure that we do not cooperate.
ya got that right...ppls is scared, man. scared of missing that next payment. Makes for a nice "liquid labor force"...A nice way to say "workin' slobs can't dare make a peep. In shit up to our eyeballs, afraid to make a wave... ZW
Another benefit to the government thanks to the consumer economy... we have spent away our access to our real power- not the bogus power in the voting booth. We are dependent on the system for sustenance, we have spent all our "disposable" income on the latest gadget leaving us financially vulnerable as a whole. Add to the mix the economic issues and you have the middle class too afraid to lose their jobs to be willing to go along with a strike. As a people who has squandered our collective financial security we have enslaved ourselves and have placed far too high a price on exerting what could be our real power in the mix.
This is a lie. Some people really do make it, but not all of us can be rich. By being rich someone else has to be poor, where one business succeeds another one must fail. There is nothing more common than unsuccessful men with talent, and it isn't because they didn't try hard enough, it's because we've created a system that rewards with money people who already have money. Pulling yourself up by the bootstraps is a derelict of the 20th century. That shit is dead now.
