I always heard crazy stories about people on acid seeing pink elephants, dragons, thinking that they were a cup of orange juice, etc. and this scared me off taking acid for some time. When I eventually did have some I saw nothing that wasn't there (a lot of things morphed, colours brightened/shining off objects, etc. but nothing like pink elephants). Has any one here seen anything like this? Am I just not taking enough?
Ive seen things drastically morph into objects I know that weren't there like my friends face growing whiskers, I've seen a wall grow full of like hallucinogenic ivy and breathe. Maybe the person was just looking at an elephant and it turned pink ??? Lol I've heard people report seeing dragons on 2ce so it definitely could be possible on LSD as well. LSD is dosed alot lower today than in the 60's/70's like the average hit is probably about 50 ugs today and 300 ugs hits were not uncommon back in LSD's infancy even higher in some instances, So that's like 6 hits at once of most of todays stuff. I think even with those strong pseudo hallucinations people know they aren't real but often might have got feelings of anxiety and being scared since LSD can provoke such an emotional burden as well. Some individuals are probably just more suceptible to these visuals than others but if you are only taking 1-2 hits at a time with the majority of todays acid you probably won't get some of those effects
Pretty much what guerilla said, it is not normal that you see pink elephants, but in higher doses stuff defiantly can morph into some pretty wild things, sometimes you have control over it and can shape it to whatever you want. So it is possible to see pink elephants but it just not a common effect that everyone has, every trip is different. I know I defiantly experienced neon colored animals, plants, mushrooms. I remember on a combination of acid and mushrooms I saw giant 6 foot tall dancing neon mushrooms with like crystal light shingles spiraling down around them. Details in visuals can get pretty epic, realer than real.
I've seen dragons on 2ce sure. I've been in the center of all dimensions on acid and had fireballs thrown at me and such. I dunno man, you can see whatever with the right dosage haha.
A sort of interesting side thought. Other night I did some acid and during the beginning of the trip I was looking at the wall with all these diamond shapes in it. Some of the diamond shapes were squiggling around and protruding out the wall or spiraling. So I started to try to think of what happens as the trip progresses, and all I could think about was just more squiggles and more trails and the wall looking like snakes. So later on in the trip finally comes, I had forgotten about what I thought, but it hit me again as I realized I was looking as this beautiful image on the wall. It became very clear to me at that point that my consciousness didn't wildly keep growing, its regressed and be came more complex and articulate. All the diamonds had come out to make it seem like a bird like creature spreading diamond encrusted wings! It seems as the energy rises, the precision of your consciousness becomes greater. You are able to focus your energy into finer forms. Which is really wild stuff to think about.
Once, I saw I all the veins underneath my skin. I could even see these "tiny somethings" flowing through them, which I immediately associated that with my red blood cells.
The whole orange juice thing is a hugeeeeeee fairy tale originated by the government.. That's been around since MY drug dealer was a kid, and that was a while ago... The story that's mainly told with that is some dude took like 100 hits and thinks hes orange juice now.. And he's thought he was orange juice for "x" years now.. But that's all bull..
Once while tripping on acid George Harrison sat in one place for six hours because he thought he was a puddle. Anything is possible.
