Someone told me that wrapping doses in foil ionizes the molecules, lowering the potency. Probably doesn't make too big of a difference but I'm thinking plastic might be the way to go for longtime storage.
I've stored LSD in aluminum foil in the freezer and it didn't seem to effect it any. Wait. Maybe I'm thinking of the chocolate mushrooms I kept in the foil in the freezer, lol. Come to think of it, I can't think of any other storage method I've ever used for storing LSD other than a plastic bag in the freezer. Always store it in the freezer, though. Best place for acid.
Foil is better for it then just a plastic bag, but really nothing short of a vacccum sealed tube is going to prevent it degrading, what really affects acid is sudden temp change, light, oxygen, and heat. I always give people doses wrapped in glossy papper like you would find in a magazine, then i tape that shut and put it in a plastic bag, I find it persrves them very well. Some people can call it overkill but I take my acid very serious. It's unfortunate that such a beautiful chemical has to be so damn unstable.

Although that would be the best swim of my life... I don't know, mine is wrapped in foil, inside a ziplock with a silica gel packet, inside a silver static pouch with the rest of my stash, in an airtight mason jar with more silica gel and uncooked rice, in the freezer. I don't think heat, light, or moisture should be an issue Might be overkill but I worked hard to collect that stash and keeping it preserved long term is crucial at this point. It's been in there for about 3 months, I'll report back regarding potency the next time I drop
