god created sin and decided what it consisted of, right? so then how come he didn't make the minor sins (homosexuality, wise and controlled drug use, and stuff like that) okay, while still keeping the big ones (abortion, murder, blasphemy, hatred) in place peace and love
I thought that the big sins included homosexuality, the little sins are lying, not tithing, cheating on taxes, flirting in church, you know all the things the church people do. The big sins are left to us professional sinners.
in christian eyes, yeah.....but homosexuality doesn't hurt anybody, it's a form of population control, and it's found in animals so i'm guessing it's natural why couldn't god have just made homosexuality okay?
I've asked this a lot, and one answer I've got was that it was man who added that in the Bible, not God. I suppose this is the Liberal way of viewing the Bible. Either that or God is just pretty cruel.
In my opinion, the Bible is Man's interpretation of the Word of God, not God's Word itself, there's too many contradictions within the Bible for me to believe it is directly His word, so therefor I don't think the Bible is completely accurate. In my opinion, if there is a God who was so powerful he was able to make the entire Universe, why would He care if someone was gay or if they worshipped another religion. You'd think that a God with that much power would be able to rise above "sins" as petty as homosexuality. So I don't think anything like that is a sin.
eehh it made the top ten, huh? But that is the big black lies, the churheys tell tiny white lies.It is really all in the color scheme of things , ya know ?
