Picking up a new vehicle, pretty soon. Diesel bus to convert to veggie, en route.. looking for a few folks sane enough to hope for peace & compassion, instead of selfishness... Mistah Fritz has pointed out that prospecting on BLM and National Forest service land may be a viable way to make some $, as well as jewelry and odd jobs... that being the case, and with veggie oil for fuel, we could wind up being on the road for a while, which would be absolutely great, by me... i'm well traveled..over 100,000 miles through this country, and a little bit of Europe, Canada and the Bahamas, and prepping for these adventures, now, hopefully things will allow another long term road trip throughout the US.. Anyone who comes along needs to be peacefull, reasonably clean & fairly drug free.. no narcotics or heavy alcohol use. Hopefully we'll all be able to take in the beauty of existence as it is, without a lot of hoopla, other than earnest celebration of Being, being compassionate to each other, whatever solitude, creativity or vibrancy we'll hopefully find in the traveling and working, together.. As a road trip, we'd be looking into explorations of new mexico, the pacific coast, the mid-west, possibly canada, and later maybe the east coast.. i need to escape the whole 20th/21st century tv-techno-prepared-food mindset, more or less finally & once & for all... At some point we'll get to the Ocean... & a lot of where we'll be going will be near there... eventually we'll hit up some communes... we may even join a caravan.. there's a good chance i'll be trying to begin one, but that's another story entirely... let me know what you think... peace, john

I have good supplies/materials/knowledge,just need a driver.I have 1kw solar kit,ATV,2 400w wind turbines,basic/advanced hand tools,chainsaw,canoe and possibly a 30' 5th wheel camper Im trying to get the title to but can get a 'temp transit permit' good for 30days but its 5th wheel vehicle to tow which I cant get. Im proficient in shelter construction,renewable energy,bush cooking,aquaponics,aquaculture,livestock,low voltage.electrical,framing,plumbing,hunting,tracking and general construction.I am also in shape and can do general labor of course.I dont know much about mining aside from the TV show.
John, Hello, I have to say that all your visions for the future make me realize that I will once again find my tribe. My name is Ali, I am 31(today is actually my birthday) and I have been based in Prescott, az for, wow, I guess the better part of a decade. I have always had some strange soul craving for the whole family/picket fence/stability trip and after 3 years of mothering someone else's child ( the best part of it), having cable for the first time since I left home at 16, eating people kibble(mind/population control-- by far the worst of it ) and there is nothing more i can do to make this relationship work,I realize that this persons soul is not in a position to grow with mine and I am again ready to return to my life of Right Human Relations and serving humanity. I can no longer live this way, 1/2 alive, lonely missing my tribe. I actually broke down in Prescott about 8 years ago after hitchhiking and ride sharing the 4 years before that and it is blatantly obvious that I came here to learn about permaculture, survival farming, green building, community building and the importance of art, and natural healing(my specialty!!!) and MINING TOO!! A dear friend of mine has invited me to come out to Kansas for a short spell (3-6 months) of healing (eating steamed veggies, lots of supplements, saunas and meditation and spring arrowhead hunting on his friend's farm) and for the renewal of my charismatic self confidence. I just bought a full sized van and although its the first vehicle I have owned in over 12 years, the 14 mpg doesnt make me feel like Im "treading lightly" so, when I get to Kansas I am either going to try to double the gas mileage with the installation of a hydrogen fuel kit, find something more efficient, or fill it with people? TO OFF-GRID-SURVIVALIST--HEY THIS VAN I BOUGHT HAS A LOW MILEAGE very strong V8 WITH AN AWESOME TOW PACKAGE although i know its far from ideal without first increasing the gas mileage, especially if it is going to tow!! hit me up! I do hope to see the family in Washington this year and will be in that direction come early summer. I play well with others and am very seriously desiring life in the shared vision. I am the farthest thing from a doomsdayer, although I KNOW and have since I was a very young child, that there are inevitable changes coming to our planet, much sooner then later, that call for a very new way of life for far more than just us 1% ( i was raised by bikers, lol). The experiences in survival and human relations that I have gained in the past decade could be of huge benefit to the greater good but I cannot do it alone. I would like to talk with you more about logistics and visions. I feel like the time for just wandering is over and it is important that serious plans be made!!
