I recently read "LSD: My Problem Child" by Albert Hofmann.
    Great read.

I've also read a book called "Shroom: A Cultural History of the Magic Mushroom" by Andy Letcher, which I can also recommend.

I have read "Doors of Perception" and am 3/4 of the way through "Heaven and Hell." I also just started "The Joyous Cosmology." From what I have read, they are all very informative and very fun reads.

A lot of things I could not verbalize are put into words in these books in ways that I have failed to do in the past.

Tripping by Charles Hayes - many good trip reports
Amazing Dope Tales by Stephen Gaskin - this book is like tripping (to me)

I actually really like learning how drugs work. My favorite book is called simply Psychopharmacology. It is essential to understand neurotransmission, etc.

I also like DeQuincey's "Confessions of an English Opium Eater" as he describes the experience so well. It was the first time I ever heard someone describe in words how I feel in my opioid journeys.

I read that around 1957, when I was around 11. I was thinking, hmmm. But I never got into opioids. Imagine, that long ago, getting the message that another consciousness was possible!

"Naked Lunch" by William Burroughs - nothing like shooting bug powder or drinking Mugwump Jism to get high.

Ayahuasca in my blood- is one of the best i've ever read...

Wizard of the Upper Amazon - short, but astounding.

    Left in the Dark

Inner Paths to Outer Space - a must read by rick strassman, and others

    DMT- the spirit molecule (obviously)

    The cosmic serpent

And of course all of McKenna, Robert Anton Wilson, and Leary.
