I was wondering how many fellow hipforum members have this game and if they play online. I have it for xbox 360 and if anyone wants to play together just send me your gamertag or post it in this thread. Plus it has the best name for a real gun in it, the stoner63. Anyways I would'nt mind haveing some more people to play with and just a heads up i mostly play hardcore.
I have COD 2 and World at war, both really awesome games. i wanna pick this up sometime soon when I get the chance. I heard they bring Reznov back.
I've heard horrible things about this game from my friends. One even took it back the next day... Hows everyone here feel about it??? And there's that elusive SWIM character again. =D
My little bro owns that game. I don't really play video games but I'm home for Thanksgiving break...and so i started playing it. I GOT 8 KILLS AND ONLY 2 DEATHS. BALLLAAAAA
I grabbed it for pc...doesn't really offer anything too groundbreaking and it doesn't run nearly as smooth as MW2 which I think may have something to do with the game recording feature of it. I like how the perks are done better than mw2...no stopping power keeps the game more balanced. Being able to buy weapons/perks/equipment rather than wait forever to unlock them is a plus too. The spwanpoints are horrible as usual with COD games..in hardcore mode with instant respawn I don't know how many times I have spawned around a corner, but in firing range of the enemy just killed me. I started playing through the campaign on veteran..gotta keep things a little interesting. On veteran the campaign is actually challenging at points...alot of video games in recent years have become so easy and you're hand is held through the whole game. In blackops you actually have to be patient and be somewhat strategic - taking cover, using smoke to hide yourself, making sure enemies are dead before advancing, etc. All I really have to say about it for now...the multiplayer is still quite fun despite the craptastic spawn coding..and if you got as sick of mw2 as I did, it's very similar but I feel has a slight edge over mw2, along with better maps. Oh I also forgot to mention that the pc version supports dedicated servers, whereas mw2 used the shitty xbox matchmaking system.
I got it for the Wii... it's probably the best port to date.. i just wish when the game is ported to multiple systems that the servers all connected together
Bad idea for a number of reasons. 1) Graphical capabilities 2) Controller input (Mouse and keyboard users annihilate controller users, every time)
maybe im wrong.. but does the xbox 360 or PS3 not have the capabilities of using a keyboard and mouse for web browsing?
KB/M for web browsing isn't the same as KB/M support for a game. The latter has to be included by the developer, and they don't do that in order to keep the competition fair, because anyone who uses KB/M will dominate controller players. You'd have to hack your console.
FPS gaming on pc is where it's at...console versions have slight AA. Skill on pc is another level. Only reason I wish I had it for xbox is that more friends play on there..
I'm not really a fan of the point/click to shoot on PC. Being able to snap 180 degrees around in a millisecond with no weight of movement whatsoever just doesn't feel right. I can understand why it makes competition more fierce, and that it's a superior control scheme in terms of user ability, but in terms of realism I don't think it's any better than AA. It isn't unheard of, it's up to the developer of a game to decide what input devices they will support. Many won't include KB/M on consoles b/c of the unfair advantage it offers. Others will keep KB/M players separate from controller users. Others will place handicaps into the system to try and equalize the disparity. It just depends on the developer.
blame microsoft. sony has pitched this idea over and over, but microsoft wants to keep their network closed. probably better though - we don't want their blackouts over at PSN anyways :afro:
