best hippie places in Canada

    chronic,whers this place you speak of,,,you are way up in north on.,wow,nice but kinda cold isnt it...........is thunder bay kinda hippish place

    That would depend on which place you mean...

    As for our place... resisting the urge to be a smart ass and say it's not kinda anything.... I will instead point out that the differences in weather from southern ontario to Timmins (which is a couple of hours north of us) isn't that big of a thing... In terms of gardening, yes, but otherwise not really.

    However, even if it was a lot different, how much time do you spend outside in the winter? Us, the answer is as little as possible and with our two woodstoves, I would bet almost anything that we are, in general, warmer then most people.

    Thunder Bay... the CITY? No, I would not call it hippish... Just as I wouldn't call any major city 'hippish'.... Plastic plants, transplanted trees and landscaped parks sorta go against anything I would consider even remotely hippish...

    As for the people there... they are just like the people everywhere... some are and some aren't...

    yea,ok thanx for info,just herd from a old dude hippy that he thought thunderbay was quite the hippie place with all the scenery and back woods and get togethers for hippie type


    ive also herd that leamington is the modern day hippie hangout and growing.this place has more greenhouses than any place in north america,lots of organics and fruits/vegetable stands everywhers to and quite the artsy town,population 33,000 and close to pelle island....im near there in windsor
