KY is great for vaginal as it stays wet with just a little outside additional moisture but not good for anal imo.

Velvet or Astroglide or WET Platinum - used all of those and all worked well.

 

I've read that you should use water-based lubricants. KY isn't recommended I think because it won't dissolve in your body. Personally I think if you can produce enough saliva it can be a great lube. That's why you always see people in porn spitting on cocks or assholes. Once you get things nice and wet then you still need to take it slow and easy to get the person to open up.

 

Water base is always the best for clean up. Silicon is one of the best for anal sex as it will not lose any of its slipperyness.

NEVER I repeat NEVER use anything with a numbing agent for Anal Sex. Pain is your bodies way of telling you something is wrong. I have read and heard many accounts of people going into the emergency rooms with serious injuries from using Anal Ease from emergency room staff. Sure you can use the stuff with the numbing agent and shove a baseball bat up your ass but if you tear something you won't feel it. Then e coli in an open wound is a wonderful thing.

Use some common sense.

"Maximus" by Liquid Silk is water-based, so great for silicone toys, and has the consistency of a clear gel - specifically for anal.
