Write-In Lisa Murkowski Re-elected

Write-In candidate, Lisa Murkowski, has been re-elected as Alaskan senator after a contentious battle with Tea Party candidate Joe Miller. Joe Miller was put on the ballot after he won the Republican primary over Murkowski. But she decided to run as a write-in and succeeded despite obvious difficulties.

Palin's endorsement couldn't even bring a victory in her home state.

I hope Murkowski basically says "screw you guys I got my own party now" and is willing to side with the Democrats, at least during the lame duck session. She was a moderate in general to begin with, not just a moderate compared to Joe Miller.
