Oh Christ, there is no way I could ever pick just one. Everyone in my facebook friends recently were blogging what their 15 most influential albums were, and the rules cited that you had to not think about it and just do it in 15 minutes... It took me pretty much all day and in the end I listed like 50 albums instead of 15. To save myself time and heartache, guess I'll do it this way... If I had to be stranded on an island and could only take one album (old or new) with me that I would have to listen to for the rest of my life... I guess it would be... MGMT - Oracular Spectacular
today, my favourite album is 'dig deep' by the motet. of course, i will surely have a new favourite album tomorrow... this is a constantly updating feature of my consciousness.
if I had to pick just one CD to take with me to a deserted island to spend the rest of my time there it would be Dire Straits Brothers in arms
1- The Strokes - Is This It? 2- Bjork - Homogenic My number 3 changes often, it could be Aphex Twin - Classics, Interpol - Turn On The Bright Lights, Luke Vibert - Chicago Detroit Redruth.
Either Black Foliage-The Olivia Tremor Control or OK Computer-Radiohead. But there are others as well... it keeps changing.
No way I could choose 1 I'll choose 10 1) The Beatles-Abbey Road 2) Pink Floyd-Dark Side of the moon 3) The Clash-London Calling 4) Radiohead-Ok Computer 5) 2pac-All Eyez on me 6) Chemical Brothers-Come with us 7) Tool-Lateralus 8) Led Zeppelin-Led Zeppelin II 9) Metallica-Master of Puppets 10) Shpongle- Are you Shpongled? Not necessarily in that order but that's how they came to me.
