So it was my friends birthday last night. For some reason, on our way to a club that I've been to a 1000 times I take a wrong turn. I float through the ghetto-est of ghetto... Assuring everyone I know where I am. After about 15 minutes I finally figure out where I am but I am still a nervous wreck. As I'm driving downtown, lights are blinking yellow and red and when I'm nervous my depth perception is off. I see lights blinking red and go to stop... but I'm late. For some reason as the car is FLYING through the intersection they see me and instead of continuing to go and just missing me they slow down and slam on their breaks allowing me to hit them in their ass... not fast... but I still fuck up their tire and am able to drive away with a small piece of their bumper stuck in my front bumper. Yeah it was my fault, but why did the guy have to slow down?!!? This is my 3rd wreck in about a year - 2 of which were my fault. Thank god my car is a tank. It still runs great... but doesn't look so great anymore. Thanks for letting me vent. I just know my insurance will sky rocket again. Just a tip for everyone... Driving in South Florida is fucking dangerous especially when your me. Anyone else prone to car accidents?
i feel as though i am also prone to car accidents. A couple a months ago i was driving back to my university from my home and managed to flip my car trying to avoid deer that were crossing the road. it sucked. my car is totaled it was a really shitty accident, Before that, i was driving and hit a parked tractor trailer. FUCKED up the front right of my car so badly. :O but yeah.....im not a BAD driver, the second accident i had (the first one i listed) wasnt my fault in anyway. but yeah, glad your ok dude.
t/y. I had a full car so I'm glad I'm not resposible for not hurting anyone. I have yet to flip a car or been in an accident that serious thank god. Going upside down in a car would probably traumatize me to the point of not riding in a car for a long time! How did you hit a parked tractor trailer?
To be HONEST i was kinda tired and i was driving when maybe i shouldnt have been. The vehicle was for some reason parked in a suburban side street in a neighborhood, taking up a lot of the road. But yeah.....
i still dont drive. i keep saying im gonna get my licence, but im still scared. luckily we live in a smaller county now, so the test should be easier on me than city driving (just mountain roads, but theres not a lot of other people on them) but i move at a much slower pace, i am not interested in being run off the road by some asshole in a hurry.
I'm the best driver in this city Tonight actually..I was driving home from work where it is 70km/h and this suv is going 60 so I drive kinda close and this fucker taps his breaks (not hard) even though he's already going too slow. The line is dotted so I pass this retard and he honks at me and then flicks his lights...?
Something like that happened to me today, actually. I was on 95 and this guy was in the far right lane and I in the lane next to him (its 5 lanes on each side). There was a car in front of my going slow and I had no way to pass him on the left side. All I did was pull forward and got in front of the car who was in the far right lane and he started frantically flashing his lights at me... There was plenty of room so I'm not sure what his motivation was... I mean, Whats the point?
when i was in my 20's out of the army,, I didnt have a drivers license for the state I lived in for 3yrs and I even had a state job..
I can drive with my eyes closed...I have rolled a joint while driving at 120K....I have snorted lines at 120K...we used to pass doobs from one car to the other while moving....I have pee'd at 120K too:mickey:....I can do a U-turn on any street with out hesitation...any amount of traffic...It comes with being a 'driver' for years when i was young.....one time the opp pulled me over on highway 401..its 12 lanes wide where he got me...6 each way..it was sunday morning 5am..i was in a cube van..heading out on my route....buddy comes to the window and says''you were cleaning your nails''and he is pissed...haha...i was spreading an oil doob...he let me go after a lecture:mickey: i can drive, baby!
Iv a bad reverser bang into parked cars, side swipe trees, if i get excited out the bush it can be a white nuckle ride, apart from that im a good driver, also have a proble with failing to give way,
No offense man but you shouldn't drive... I mean c'mon that's a lot of fuck ups in one year.... If I was in the car with you I would have yanked you into the backseat and took over driving. Not safe for you, the passengers, or the other people on the road.
one time I did a perfect front roll on a honda three wheeler and ended up back on the tires and kept driving :2thumbsup: someone had taken a pile of dirt from a hill I was going down
So I'm reviving this thread because I got a call this morning from my insurance company. This wreck happened back in November and we didn't even hit that hard. Hardly any damage on either cars... There were 2 people in the other car, both in their early 20's. I'm getting the ticket I recieved thrown out of court, because I'm basically contesting what happened. There were 5 people total in my car. No one was hurt.... And there all willing to state that to my Insurance company or whoever else they have to tell. But according to my insurance agent, this 20 something retard is now saying he is injured almost 6 months later... which unfortunately is totally within the time limitations. I know this guy was not hurt... Most likely he is doing this so he can get a MRI so he can go to one of those pill farms South Florida is famous for and of course some extra money. My policy will most likely not cover whatever he is asking for... So what the fuck do I do?
so, this guy must have seen a doctor, while you cant get the detailed information, i think you are within your rights to demand proof of his 'injuries' and when he sought a doctors advice. if he started seeing a doc closer to the time of the accident, then why did he not contact insurance people sooner? if he saw a doctor more recently, how can he say it was from that accident? maybe there was a hit and run, but hell, he had your insurance information already, right? its within his rights, however i think the burden of proof rests with him. i would fight it. he needs to be able to prove that that accident caused him an injury that didnt surface for 6 months.
some people are just bad drivers. there's nothing to be disappointed about. texas drivers are pretty bad. it's like a mad competition.
