I've never taken an opiate, i'm just wondering how bad would the effects be if i had an allergic reaction to it. Does it depend on the dose? What to do if this happens?
I had a bad reaction to Morphine about 16 years ago. I was involved in a serious car accident and shattered my left leg, they gave me a shot of morphine for pain. I broke out in a severe rash and went into a temporary coma.
If you are allergic, it can potentially be lethal. It is dose related. The higher the dose, the worse the reaction. The reaction will also get worse each time you are exposed to the allergen. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include, but are not limited to, rash, itching (which is also just a side effect of opiates), & trouble breathing. You should contact the emergency room, or 911, if you are having an allergic reaction.
opiates definitely will cause severe skin body itching in some or alot of ppl, not all opiates just some forms, such as big H powder form in my case scarred for life from cuts from scratching everywhere from big H problem ive had in the past goo dluck
i know when my mom had her wisdom teeth pulled they gave her a painkiller with codein in it and that was enough to put her in a temporary coma. find out if you're allergic at the doctor's office, not lying on your couch unable to ask for help.
well when i take morphs or ms cotton, i scratch all over alot like dave chapel's crack head skit, lmao good times, but w/e mine wasnt bad enopguh to take any thing for wait n/m actualy once i did take bebedril cause i almost scratches my arm raw in a few spots once.
