Horrific animal torture please help

Please help also by boycotting any fur or even fake fur (which it is sometimes passed off as) products from China.

I will not view the footage, as I have seen enough videos of this type of thing already. And it distresses me too much to see it anymore. It really is horrific what is going on in China, but in a country with NO animal rights laws in place, what can you expect? The EU placed a ban at the start of the year on all cat and dog fur entering all EU countries. How much of an effect this will actually have, time can only tell. But I doubt it will make much difference, seeing as how a lot of the fur is mislabelled (usually deliberately) as fake fur, in order to get it through customs. There needs to be huge pressure applied to China to make this stop, but sadly, I cannot see that happening. The fact China was allowed to stage the Olympics last year, is a clear message to China that in the eyes of our world leaders at least, what they are doing is perfectly acceptable. Its all about money, and it makes me sick, and breaks my heart :sad:

I wish this horrible practice would be stamped out, but sadly, I cant see it happening, not in the forseeable future at least. In a country where the human rights record is awful what chance have poor animals got? Another problem is, even in the highly unlikely scenario China DID stop killing cats and dogs for fur, is it really any more acceptable that other animals should be treated like that, and killed in the same manner? Of course not. Killing ANY animal for its fur, especially in the appalling ways it is currently done in China, can never be justified, at least in my mind. The fact cat and dog fur is specifically being mentioned as being wrong, disturbs me. Killing any animal in those ways is never acceptable.

 

OMFG. I thought i have seen everything, and i have never been emotional about any video that i can think of, but this video brought a tear to my eye and made me want to throw up. If i was there i swear i would try to kill those people with a gun. Or even better use the gun to force them in a cage all bunched up together so they can't move at all, and then push the cage off of 5-10 ft drops. That would be glory. I never thought i would hate people that much. Omg. Thats the most fucked up thing i have ever seen in my life.

 

Does this show skinned animals moving around? Never watching something like that ever again.

It shows Cats and dogs trapped in TINY little cages together so that they have no room at ALL to move even a paw, and they throw these cages slamming them on the ground.
The other video has a hedgehog i think and they hold it by the feet violently slamming it's head on the ground for no apparent reason. Where are the world police when you need them.

You are actually wrong there. Some people involved that industry DO enjoy their "work". There is plenty of documentary evidence which proves this. Can I say all of them enjoy it? No. But some definitely do. And they deserve the highest contempt anyone could possibly level at them.

Anyway, that's still no excuse. I would sooner kill myself, than hurt a poor defenseless animal. Especially in the barbaric ways they are not just killed, but TORTURED, just for fur. If anyone tried to harm my cat, (or in fact any hapless creature if it was in my direct line of vision) I would gladly give my life, if that's what it took to protect them.

 

That was just despicable. I had no idea that there was a market for house cat and dog fur. I have to admit I am a little biased, because I'm a cat person. But I agree that there is no place in modern society for animal furs. We're way beyond the hunter/gatherer stage of our evolution. We don't need furs to keep warm. It's just a status symbol for people with too much money. Let 'em stick to gold, diamonds and other bling.

But look at how animals are treated around the world in general, including the Western countries … livestock farming, sealing, etc.

I remember seeing a documentary on the dog-meat industry in China a few years back and one of the farmers said that Western countries make a stink when they see dogs used for animal products because … here it comes … dogs fill the gap in people’s homes that is left by the breakdown of the family unit. Western people therefore see dogs in a different light to other animals which, by Western standards, are acceptable to be used for animal products.

Basically, it’s hypocritical to fuss about dogs being treated badly, but at the same time turn a blind eye to what is happening to other animals that are used for animal products.

‘Let ye who is free of sin cast the first stone’ … or, in all fairness, try transferring your concerns for animal abuse to what is happening right where you live.

Fur farms are hell on earth. I've made the mistake of watching on with badgers when i first turned Vegetarian (and hadn't seen much of the stuff before) I was fucked up for days..

 

the extraction of gold and diamonds, and the human toll involved, does not make a pretty video either...

People in the Faroe islands also hunt pilot whales every year.

I would too Fresh. I would fucking murder them too. I didn't watch this particular clip because i have seen them before and it would absoultely do my head in to see another one.
I love dogs and to me they are like children - treating them this way is unthinkable!! I just wish we could go over and rescue them all just fucking leave their country devoid of all animals- they don't deserve them.
I really don't have stong enough words to describe this wretched fucking evil practise. And i dont care what their reasons are for doing it or how poor they are, really i don't. There is NO excuse for this shit- like ever. I'd starve before i could inflict this kind of tourture on another being. Oxygen theives is all they are. :cuss::cuss:
