So does EVERYONE have a past life? Isn't it possible that their are "New" souls so to say? Like first time here souls?

I always figured there must be "new" souls - or maybe souls that have been doing other stuff before coming to the so-called "Earth school." But I dunno...let's see if anybody else has more authoritative info. ;)

I know nothing of the subject. But since we are all made of matter that has come from the beginning of creation- I always figured if a soul existed it was as old as time.

I do believe in the soul, which is quite odd for me.

What we're made of is immaterial. :D

The question is about incarnations, right? Also with regard to your statement - "if" souls exist, how and from where do they originate?

can a past life awareness have a variety of aspects ? maybe you emotionally take on some long-standing generational issues - like the sins of the father sort of thing whether or not it's actually about your own family . it could be , but it could be of some old cultural conflicts still to be pondered and learned from ... mmm , like the massacre of the Druids .

history is , yet it seems so much falls away into unspeakableness . past life awareness , i believe , is a good enough vehicle to think and feel with . when i listen to people speak of their past life experience their voice of empathy and compassion is real .

and then there is your own early childhood ... this is also yours to claim and remember . it can feel like a past life , because it is of your life before you learned this language . if one wishes to , you may remember feelings from the womb . those feelings had no words to serve them . yet , as you recall those sensitive feelings you have the ability to make a story of them now . the soul story you make can be very precious .

I don't have any real information about past lives... I haven't really dug into the facts/theories/etc in that perspective. BUT, I have had a dream that I think was of one of my past lives. I brought it up in chat just the other day!

I had this dream a few years ago, it was very elaborate, though I can only remember bits and pieces now, it was still very vivid and real compared to my usual dreams (which are mostly ABSURDLY weeeird lol... anyways, I dreamt I was walking through a house with an old fashioned rifle... I can't remember exactly what it looked like or the period in time it would have belonged, but I was walking through a house that was very reminiscent of one of my cousins houses, which dates back to the Civil War period. More or less, I was sneaking around trying to "clear" the rooms I guess. As I was tip-toeing through the house, I was suddenly stabbed in my lower back area, right on the spine I believe. Before I could realize what was happening or even attempt to turn around, I woke up. Now that I think about it, it was almost like a waking dream or the proverbial Out of Body Experience, whereas I woke up wondering, 'Was I even asleep just now?'

Also, what's weird is that quite a few years back, I stopped talking to my cousin because of problems between his family and ours, and also, I have lower back and neck problems due to an injury that occurred not too long ago. It could have been a forseeing of things to come, though unintentionally ignorant as we all may be while trying to translate our dreams, I was unaware. Still though, I believe it was a vision from a past life.

I hope this might help in some way, as I believe we as humans may have visions of what has happened to us (maybe, as souls or some sort of connection between the spirit realm and reality) in our past lives. In that respect, we might even have visions concerning our lives in the future! One may never know! On that note, some part of me thinks it may have to do merely with our varied perception of things.

I don't pretend to know the answer to your question, however, I don't believe anyone here can/will give an answer that you'll accept or be satisfied with. When one asks about a "first" or "last", or a "beginning" or an "end", we need to realize that we're only thinking in that fashion because our current lives have a beginning and an end; in the physical form or current definition of life as we know it.

I don't believe there is a beginning or an end to any soul, entity or energy. Energy transcends time. We are thinking too linear. We can grasp the answer to the question, however, it will come and be gone almost in an instant; because I don't believe, in our current form, we are really able to comprehend it. I have felt this divine knowledge, realized everything and before I could put anymore thought into it, lost it. Even though I had just realized everything, it was gone almost as fast and though it just happened, felt like it was a distant memory.

For this reason, I don't believe we need to worry ourselves with the answer to this question. It is not important in this life to know this, I can say with a fair amount of certainty that we are here, not to learn this, but to accomplish something else and evolve in another area. When we leave this physical crutch, we will know the answer again. This amnesia is only temporary. I truly believe that we already know everything, but have unconsciously chosen not to remember certain things because it would only hinder our necessary evolution for the life we're currently in.

Hope that answers your question or at least sheds a little light on it, but it most likely brought up more questions in your mind. hehe ;)

Thanks KevinSmith that did shed some light.I'm not expecting a yes or no answer im just trying to get more of a idea i guess? But it would seem like we choose not to remember everything don't it? and maybe if that's the case then it could effect someones past life regression? Ex- Something very shocking or devastating could of happend in your past life and you chose to have no remembrance of it all together, Or Maybe we have the choice to just simply not remember any of it so we can be reincarnated without our past regrets, phobias, fears etc.. Possibly?

In a simplified explanation or analogy, say you're working on a math problem: 3+2= ?

and then move onto the problem: 3x2= ?

They're both very similar, they're both math, but there's no reason to remember or go back to 3+2 in order to find the solution to 3x2. Even if we do try to go back and remember the previous equation(or life), often, it will not help in your current situation. We only see what we need to see, hear what we need to hear, and so forth... I believe we have a very specific purpose(or possibly a few objectives) for the life we're in. The answers to the questions you seek come to you on a *DAILY* basis, I assure you. It's once we open ourselves up and seek, that we will continue to find the answers to the questions we have.

It has taken myself almost 27 years to figure this out. But again, I'm talking time, which really isn't relevant. You can discover answers to your questions very quickly if you know where to look and/or what to look for. As I always say, it comes down to awareness, understanding, and intent.

Once we are aware of something, we can begin to understand it. It is your intent to find the solution that will bring all this together.
