Is it just me, or are Disney movies fantastic to watch while stoned? They seem to make so much sense.
It's the same with comedy's you can't laugh at sober. When you're stoned humor gets funnier, epicness gets more epic and fantasy more fantastic. Or so it seems. That's probably why it's easy for lots of people to just watch tv all night while stoned
I seriously recommend watching Tron while stoned! Also, Snow White is absolutely hilarious while stoned.
I think I laughed most during Aladdin but I really need to watch it again to remember why it was so funny. I'm sure it will be great again
I rewatched my favorite disney the lion king last night ... almost cried when Mufasa died...Genius scene...that almost made me cry.
The Sword and The Stone is awesome, stoned or sober. So are Dumbo and Pinocchio. Can't forget Peter Pan. I love 60's and 70's Disney movies. Real animation without computers gives them such a good ambiance. It must have been so tedious to make those films as flawless as they are. True works of art. The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under are my all time favorites though. I still have my original VHS's from from when they first came out. I used to watch them every single day.
Aladdin was amazing stoned. I was actually somewhat let down by Alice in Wonderland stoned, I enjoyed the first half hour but got kind of bored with it after. Ironic considering my current sig pic.
Pinocchio is one of the greatest stories ever written. It has such great moral content. Definately worth a watch, stoned or sober.
