I'm a cigarette smoker, and yes I realize it's bad for me (I've come to realize that I was formerly self destructive - you know how you don't see things until it's behind you? - and smoking is simply a byproduct of that dark time in my life. And yes, I plan to quit, the boyf and I have a plan. Quit-pact!) but here's the thing, strange as it is: I'm smoking and each smoke I get like these little smoke rings coming from the end of the smoke - the end where the smoke comes out! It's so mystifying because I find it very puzzling. I'm not doing anything in particular to make it happen either, it can happen right after I puff, or in between puffs at random times when I'm just holding it. I'm Cree Metis and had a kind of Native American upbringing, so I come from a spiritual family, and I know if I told my Mom this, she would say something like some one is watching over me. Which I have a tendency to believe because this all started happening after I found out my Pop (Grandpa) on my Mom's side passed away. What are your thoughts? Does this happen to anyone else?
It happens to me all the time when I smoke a cigarette. It's pretty cool and trippy, but it's meaningless.
It’s probably one of your ancestors sending you smoke signals With your native american upbringing you should be adept at reading smoke signals and interpreting them but if you can’t then consult a medicine man. Sorry If I wasn’t more helpful but the only medicine man I’m familiar with was roaring chicken from the Hekawi tribe on F-Troop Hotwater
Err not all Native Americans study smoke signals. It's an archaic practice that only a few remaining clans actually practice. And that's coming from someone who grew up in Lac la Biche which is a Native dominant town. But thanks for pinning my people, which are of many diverse and therein different practices, into one little stereotype. That was super open-headed of you. This is why I never come on here anymore, you guys aren't hippies, you're yuppies that, because they buy "green" labeled products and/or give money to a charitable cause, they assume that all other social behavior they expose is offset.
