    Congratulations

That was one of best things about being a teenager. You're supposed to sleep late.

I still sleep late whenever I can. Usually between 10:30 and noon on days off.

Monkey Boy-That is hard for me to even grasp-you've really never slept later than 10am?

I worked night shifts once so I would go to bed at like 7AM, and so I was up at around 4/5PM the next day. I would then have evening classin in college and go back to work again at like 9.

My life sucked for a while.

I wake up every morning at 3 AM and eat food and then go back to sleep. This disturbance in my circadian rhythm is caused by my medication.

When I was on Prozac last year I didn't sleep well. I felt like a zombie the whole time. My dad's presences in the house was turning me into a looney.

I've had terrible sleeping problems for the past 7 years. About two months ago I moved my bed so that my head is pointed south when I sleep and it seems to have worked. I sleep pretty well now. Though other issues were contributing factors. My head was pointed north before.

During summers while I was going to college I worked at a fruit cannery, and usually ended up on graveyard shift. The pay rate was higher for graveyard. I don't remember how much - this was back in the mid 70s - I think it was around $7.00/hr - Teamsters Union wages - pretty good for back then. I saved the money for living expenses for when I went back to school.

I learned computer programming at community college. I worked a full-time job all day and spent my evenings and some weekends in classes or the computer lab. This was in my late 20s/early 30s. I hated the job, but I loved the computer stuff.

pttf.., when I joined the work force the min was $3.25hr, but I didnt work that very long. When dismantling the Dravo shipping yards. I made $18.00hr in 1988.. of course that was short lived, once the shipping yard was gone. so was the job..
