If you had to choose a new hipforum name...

i went back and forth between a few names before i settled on DiscoPhish. i thought about leggomyeggo...anyone else entertain a few names before deciding on the one you have? does your name mean anything? i really like the disco era of music david bowie t-rex ect, and i like discobiscuits and im a big phish fan hence DiscoPhish

My name did mean something to me at the time, now, not as much. I'd probably just go with Lunar. Also I wish I had at least capitalized the L at the start. It looks odd without a capital letter at the beginning, it bugs me the way it is now.

 

I think I should have of gone with psychoticnumbskull.

 

I would keep Heat.

It has been my nickname for years and i have never used another handle on any other board. It would feel odd to do so.

 

every time i join a new forum i make up a new name.

i've had at least 9 different usernames across various sites, and this is probably my favorite so far. i didn't consider anything else at the time, because i honestly was just planning on posting for one night and never coming back when i rejoined after the '04 reboot.

 

I used to be RiderOnTheStorm but when I took a hiatus a few years ago and came back, I couldn't remember anything attached to my old name, so I just stuck the 2.0 on there. The reason for the name, well, I'm a big Doors fan. I have been called Rider for over 5 or 6 years now (even irl) so I like it and wouldn't change it. In chat, I mix it up sometimes. My recent favorite is PsychedelicPlatypus. But Rider I was, Rider I still am and Rider I shall always be.

 

Duck was my nickname at the time, now it's mostly just a handle.

If I had to rename myself, it would probably be BatDuck (as I quite like Batman; always have, and would assume I always will =P)

At first I liked my username but now I wish I had called myself something better like Drastic .That used to be my nickname when I used to hang out with some biker friends .They called me that because I was always a little over the top in everything I did .

 

I choose antithesis right away and I am still happy with it. Although I did have a short stint as 'cuddles'
