I would like to know how to erase the information about where Iv'e been on the web of my computer. I think it's called cookies? How do I erase these, so my computer doesn't have my internet history on it? If i do this, will it do anything to my computer? Any help is greatly aprecciated, thanks!

    For XP users only.

    Go to
    START
    CONTROL PANEL
(SWITCH TO CLASSIC VIEW, IF NOT ALREADY SWITCHED)
Click to open a folder called
    INTERNET OPTIONS
    On the general tab click
    DELETE COOKIES
    Click OK
    Then click
    DELETE FILES
    click OK
    Then click
    CLEAR HISTORY
This will clear all internet use.
    --------------------------------
To clear all passwords, Google searches and web sites requiring usernames
Go to the content tab and click
    AUTO COMPLETE
    then click
    CLEAR FORMS
    then click
    CLEAR PASSWORDS

Who's been a naughty boy then.!

Nemisis is correct. But, don't forget while you are on "Internet Options" to click on "Clear History"!
And I personally like to click on "Disk Cleanup"! Having a good anti-Spyware program is a big help too.

I also do the ''Disk Clean Up'' thing.
Another one to clear is any history in your ''Firewall'' programme, as this collects
    all the data too.
Windows Media Player also accumulates history that can be cleared as well.
