I love vegemite

Vegemite appreciation thread? I'm in.

It's like heaven, but salty and dark.

It goes so well with lots of things too, love it on toast by itself, or with cheese and tomato, or eggs on Vegemite toast is great as well.

Have done a several km drunken mission in the early hours of the morning to steal vegemite from a friends house. One of my best ideas

I remember this thread and Ive been looking for this stuff at grocery store international sections with no luck..it doesnt seem to be available here

Vegemite is Marmite in Britain

I think it's really lovely.

Vegemite and Marmite have a few little differences, but similar similar.

And as to fish marmalade.. Never tasted that so don't know. Is that a real thing? Doesn't sound to appetising.

 

I have no idea what vegemite is and I have not heard good things from anyone but Australians, but I'll try almost anything once.
