so i put the extracted liquids in the oven at about 175 and left the door open to finish drying out. my question is some of it in thinner areas started to bubble up a little bit, i got it outta there very quickly after seeing this and i'm air drying it the rest of the way now but does anyone think i lost any of the alkaloids when that happened? it wasnt bubbling for very long and it wasn't the entire glass dish either, and it's left me with what looks like what i'm supposed to have. the blackish tar gunk i'm just wondering if anyone thinks i may have burnt any of it. also i'm plan on taking this tonite that's why i need a quick response. thanks if any of you guys see this and can help out. also i used 91% iso for the extract if that matters any. thanks a ton in advance.

alcohol boils at 72 dgrees C....water at 100C...the temp must be more than 72 to rid the alcohol but lower than 100c to NOT boil the water content.....I think you will be fine.......luck and be careful

thank you so much man you're a life saver. i think it should be ok because even the areas that were bubbling for one weren't bubbling for very long, 2 i only had the over set to 175 with the door left open some also windows and doors open and its pretty cool here today too. i just saw that bubbling and though there went my 5 days of extracting down the tubes. the bubbled parts didn't "char/ash" up either so i'm hoping i caught it in time. thanks again for the response though, sometimes a little reassurance can go a long way. =)
