I never drink coffee. I don't need it to function in the morning, which makes me superior to all other life forms.
I could never brew a really good tasting cup o'joe until I acquired a coffeemaker with an attached grinder. Even using a spice grinder then transferring to the filter basket of a traditional drip machine could only yield passable results- nothing remarkable enough to justify dirtying a grinder... but grinding then immediately brewing in the same enclosure replicated the best coffee I had gone out and paid good money for one cup.
Woah crazy, i just noticed Hip time is morning. Its 12:40 am where I am. Currently drinking beer. Another nectar of the gods
My two muses: chaos and caffeine! Seriously, I'm not myself without some double-strong, double-sweet, hold the cow in my mug in the morning. Wiggling bare toes, ~*Ganesha*
Coffee... yes, nectar of the gods. Though like most things, moderation is the key. I've roasted fresh for several years now, and tend to brew mine in a moka pot, one cup at a time. But for me coffee is much like beer and girls. There are no bad ones, some are just better than others.
I've been on my green tea grind lately, definitely enjoyable. Supposed to be a more mellow, longer lasting buzz but right now I'm overdoing coffee again while watching the Australian Open and studying! Yeaaaaah a bit manic atm
