What a job for a power-tripper. Taking people's homes away with the signing of your name to a piece of paper you haven't even glanced at or bothered to read.

That's the reality for thousands and thousands of Bank of America mortgage holders who were foreclosed on by the pen of one person.

Tam Doan says "I had no idea what I was signing."

There should be a law against this.

Read a LOT MORE at CNN.

The whole sub-prime and mortgage securitization mess is likely a scheme cooked up with the help of the US government for the purpose of creating an artificial economic boom for the purpose of helping portfolios. The homeowners who signed these seem to be regarded as throw away elements... tools used to effect transactions that in truth were fated to be in default once the sub-prime period expired. The foreclosure paperwork SNAFU in the media now is a distraction. Four administrations helped feed home buyers to a system that seemed poised to spit them out once they got all the money they could from them.

It would be safe to say, most home owners who signed had no idea how bad of a deal they just signed on for.
