Well crap! Things have fallen into a shit pile! My partner(s) and I had given our 30 day required notice to our respective landlords and planned on moving into the house on the first of December. Today I learn that they are seperating! She's even filed for seperate maintenance whatever that is. Fuck, I never had a clue that they were having problems in their marriage. They always seemed so close.

The last thing I want is to share the house with just him, especially if I start dating his wife. Help!!!!!!!

It's all a little too convenient.

2. Billy gets the green light from partner.
3. Billy gets brush off from wife, makes him more eager.
4. Billy intends to move in with partner and wife.
5. Partner and wife separate.
What's next?
6. Billy bumps into partners ex in bar, one thing leads to another etc etc etc.

Ok, there is enough detail here for it to be plausible that this is going on...but I have a feeling it is BS.
Especially when Billy asks people to be kind and is then slightly aggressive in a response, like Billy isn't new to forums.

Seriously, The house is up for sale and we'll live in it (starting in Dec) until it sells, not amicably because it now looks like he was lying to me (and other guys) about the whole openess thing just to see if she would be faithful when one of us hit on her. No wonder she left him.

If I could, I would find somewhere else to live, but I can't swing it financially. I offered to sell him my interest at a sizeable discount but he's in no better shape than me. He did agree to suffer whatever loss is necessary to sell it within 6 months. I'll lick my wounds and learn from the experience.

By the way, the wife has gone home to mama in No. Carilina, so I guess neither he nor I will be getting any of that soon. Does anybody know if they are hiring firemen in Gastonia, NC? jk

Actually odon, it doesn't matter to me how it might look to you, nor does it matter what you make of it. This thread is over anyway since she's moved to n. carolina, The only drama left is how to deal with my new housemate-to-be. Some how I don't think you'd be much help there.

What I would like to know, though, is what it is that one is supposed to gain by making up a storyline?
