I do sometimes. In fact in the cooler times of the year we cook on a dutch oven out in the back yard. I have a special place for this.

    Yeah, if I'm camping...

They don't really appreciate it if you build campfires in the city, though...

    1. dutch oven

Blowing hard ass wind under the covers several times and building up stench while your old lady is brushing her teeth and getting ready for bed, then when she gets into bed, pull the covers over her head and yell "Dutch Oven" and let her enjoy the stench of your ass gas for at least 30 seconds.
Jonas nearly crapped his Underoos preparing a Dutch Oven for his wife

I'm so jealous of outdoor fires. All of my fires are either confined to candles or are the result of eating mexican food.

We often have fire in the evenings. I love the smell of wood burning, the crackling and watching the flames flicker. Being in the country we can pretty much have one when we wish to.

In the winter I have the fireplace to enjoy. :)

We had a nice little firepit we dug in the yard a few years back, but then our roommate moved in and pitched in for a grill, so we started using the grill instead. And now that our roommate is gone, we rarely find use for the grill, not to mention it invites our nosy ass neighbors to come and nag at us about fire hazards (not my problem they lined their entire property with extremely flammable pine trees). Avoiding outdoor fires means avoiding the fucking neighbors. I hate those bastards.

oh yes! beach, backyard (pit), driveway (pit), camping, and random wilderness here in TX. Love campfires, minus the cellphones it's forces you and your campfire companions to entertain each other with a few beers, a lil music and good conversation - (glow sticks optional).

Yes, last evening we made a nice campfire near the house. I made vegetarian lasagne, it was a great time. Now the forests here are moist enough so there is no more danger of forest fires.
