has anyone ever made a tie quilt? Where you use yarn and tie off instead of quilting it? I was just wondering if there was a certain type of yarn that you need to use or anything?

I usually quilt but My sewing machine broke and dont think I have enough patience to hand quilt it. Thank you very much.

I tie all my quilts. I really don't know how to quilt them. I usually use embroidery floss. It holds up pretty well and ties easily. And it comes in a wide variety of colors. I have baby quilts that have been washed repeatedly and they are still looking good.

well that reminds me of a No Sew Blanket... made with fleece

ya get some fleece 2 pieces, about a yard long, you hold them next to eachother and you can pin along the edge just to keep it lined up. Then you take scissors and cut fringe along the sides, about 5 inches deep, and tie the 2 fringe pieces together. At the corners you have to cut out a square... you'll see what i mean when you get to the corners.

Kinda confusing.. im not good at explaining stuff... eh ... let me find a siteNo Sew Fleece Blankets Snugglis
