I love to play just straight up acoustic guitar stuff, and sing along with it. I love Sufjan Stevens, William Fitzsimmons, and some others in that category. But I was in college and in my major I was studying classical vocal and choral music. I'm a classical singer, and I miss it a lot.
Wow you sound pretty versatile and passionate about it, I play guitar as well but cannot sing... I may give dylan a run for his money though. What college did you go to?
Actually I went to school for a while and then I left because my anxiety got the best of me. I'm going to take some classes in psychology near where I live before I take on a full residential schedule again at another college. I love psychology and I know it's what I want to study. I just miss music. I will continue to study voice though somehow
That's cool I got a BA in psychology, very interesting material in the major but plan on being in school for awhile if you want to make some money with the degree.
Right. That's what everyone keeps saying. But I think it's worth it because it's what I truly wish to pursue. Music is my passion as well, but I can't become an educator like I had planned. It's just not for me.
I never pursued anything with music myself. My grandparents had bought an organ that cost like $1000 back around 1980, hoping I would seriously pick up the habit and run with it. 30 years later, the organ sits in my grandmother's living room, not sure if it still even works.
