Not only does that conservative tea-party candidate from Nevada, Sharron Angle, promote racism, she is apparently an unstable gun freak who should be locked up for promoting civil unrest.

In a stunning commentary by Rachel Maddow about the unsuitability of Sharron Angle to hold ANY elected office for a plethora of reasons, it was revealed that Angle encouraged Conservative voters to use their guns if they don't get what they want in the next election.

    From the Huffington Post.

I hope the FBI is following Angle closely and monitoring her and her followers. They are radicals and need close scrutiny. Any organization she is associated with should be labeled terrorist and banned. That includes the Republican Party and the Tea Party! They are definite threats to America. Put her in Guantanamo along with the others in her group.

I sincerely hope that most of this "tea party" phenomenon is simply a creation of the news media.

I think it started as a true "grass roots" movement, but was hijacked early on by corporate interests that continue to pump millions into it through anonymous donations to non-profits and has been pandered to by political losers like Palin and deadbeat common-taters like Beck. This movement is now about power, not power for those on the street, but for politicians and corporations, including Fox not much News.

I read an interesting article in rolling stone (not exactly a great example of responsible journalism considering their political articles are blatantly biased, but an interesting read nonetheless) a few months ago about how these same corporations you speak of that are using the tea party for their own political motives actually hire people to go to tea party rallies in order to make the party appear bigger than it actually is. They usually hire people who are desperate for money and work, including homeless people oftentimes. So between mercenary politics and media misrepresentation, I think the tea party has gotten blown way out of proportion to the number of people that actually truly support it. I think this election will prove that the tea party doesnt have as much momentum as they would like us to think.

Middle class america is being encouraged to be revoluntioaries alright, but not the good kind..I have a real bad feeling about the midterm elections. The economy not turning around is really screwing things up. Everything Obama tried to do to fix it is now being used against him..But im sure you all noticed everybody is careful to tiptoe around the big thing thats pulling america down and thats the war.. I read an article in Rolling Stone last winter, it was with Binladens son, the one thats not following in his footsteps. but he stated that was the plan, to financially destroy america.

I think there are basically three things that 'made' the bulk of the Tea Party. Of course, free market libertarianism is not one of them, although I'm sure there are a relative handful of genuine Friedrich Hayek enthusiasts in there somewhere.

    1. Astroturfing -- Jack mentioned this to some degree, and it's the truth. Dick Armey has been pulling Tea Bagger strings since he and those other scumbags at Freedom Works realized they could tap into the rank-and-file. And I'm sure the Koch brothers and other corporate influences really couldn't give a shit about the (lack of) ability to actually govern among Tea Party favorites. All the corporate interests care about is a low tax rate and opportunity to have their influence expand. I don't think they give a shit about anything else at this point. They smell blood.

    2. Race -- And not just regarding Obama, either. Tea Partiers are largely in Fly Over Country, rural and small town citizens who probably have never seen more than five non-white people at once. They're terrified of America's changing demographics and Obama, to them, embodies that changing demographic. And that's related to...

    3. A Fleeting Sense of Power -- White Tea Baggers don't want to become a minority. They've also been told for all these years by the establishment that "Yes, you matter!" Now, with the Great Recession, it's apparent that these flag waving pseudo-patriots REALLY DON'T matter to the wealthy establishment. When push comes to shove, a white Christian from Red State, USA -- who's invested so much energy in loving America -- will get laid off and tossed in the gutter just as quickly as a black man in North Philly.

Instead of recognizing all this garbage for what it is -- that capitalism itself isn't a substitute for domestic policy, and that the wealthy business interests are essentially waging class war right now -- the Tea Baggers prefer to hold on to their fleeting sense of power: They blame lazy people, unions, gays, and minorities for destroying their lives. They CAN'T blame the wealthy jerk who stole their jobs. That would mean they didn't matter to the wealthy jerks, the very same jerks they've spent their time defending.

It's sort of like an abusive relationship. Go on Townhall.com or HumanEvents and peruse the comments section. These people are genuinely bitter. Some of them sound like the political equivalent of a Lifetime movie protagonist, begging her abusive husband to take her back after he's beaten the shit out of her once again.

    Fuckin sad...

You hit the nail on the head. The problem is they have had their FEAR BUTTONS pressed. These buttons are:

    1. fear of loss of jobs
    2. fear of "dark" people
    3. fear of terrorism
    4. fear of socialism
    5. fear of radicals
    6. fear of government
    7. fear of a black president

What they should be afraid of is lying POLITICIANS!

And, lying pundits, preachers and pundit preachers,

Watch Jack Van Impe a few times if you want a good shit producing scare, his predictions come straight from god; and we all know what happens if you dispute the word of God, you end up as the topping on the next salt cured ham.

I find nothing wrong with what she said? I find nothing racist about that video either? Racism is hating a whole race simply because they are that race. That video shows nothing that shows hate against the whole entire latino population. All it does is show that there is a huge problem with latino gangs in all these south western states.

I live in southern california and from personal experience a big majority of the latino population is racist. Lots of them have really hateful attitudes towards both whites and blacks. and I can say that in certain suburban areas that were mostly white and black families raising their children to be good people have been invaded.

10 years ago these areas were nice and did not have a big latino population. Now 10 years later these once nice family sub-burb towns are turning super crappy. I read the local sheriff reports all the time. The majority of the crimes are commited by latino's and many of these latino's will openly say that california is theirs and they are trying to take over.

Many of them with say latino's are the best fuck the rest. The thing is most of these sub-burban town around here have ZERO black and white gangs. like I said all the black and white and asian people around here I just working families that have kind nice attitudes. and these latino's are causing us all problems for no reason just because we are not latino.

So that lady might be promoting use guns to protect yourself against these invaders. or make a group and fight these invaders.

no, I think it was a "you need to be locked up because you're promoting violence" kind of statement, and I agree 100%.

Them TeaBaggers just ain't "our kinda people." Just look at their role models: Sarah "club a baby seal" Palin, Rush "have another pill my friend" Limpbaugh and Glenn "I'm gettin rich on sedition" Beck. So, Sharron "Can't out vote em shoot em" Angle is no surprise.

When people are having armed political rallies with their own armed militia groups for security, we ain't in Kansas any more, I think we're in some horror movie.

No, it's more of a "you need to be locked up because you're into violence" statement. In case you haven't noticed lately, political violence is still illegal here. Same as any other kind of non-military violence. Jail is best used for keeping violent people away from the rest of us.

Gee whiz...300 years ago those areas were populated by indigenous groups trying to raise their families in peace when the white man killed most of em and took their land. You don't think they could still be pissed off, do ya? Or, here's a wild idea, they might have street gangs for the same reason whites have street gangs. And an even crazier idea yet, they might have just got pissed off about being picked on by white punks with nothing better to do than "bash a Wet Back" on Saturday nights.

Well that happened 300 years ago. I'll give you several valid points on this

    1. Most white people don't support that this happened and most white people are not related to the people who did this ambush of natives. It happened so long ago and people have changed so much since then that even if you are related it still don't matter. holding a grudge against some random white family because of something that happened 300 years ago is just ridiculous. so basically any latino that commits their crimes for this reason is just straight up stupid.

    2. The majority of latino's are not 100% native. The majority of them are spanish. Spanish is white. So if they hate on white people for what happened 300 years ago then they must hate themselves cus they are spanish. Mexico and many south american countries speak spanish not the original native languages.

    3. 300 years ago pretty much every race fought over land and territory. It simply has nothing to do with race. Spain did not invade because they hated brown natives. The spanish were simply the better fighters and they won the battle. Like I have stated before each native group fought other native groups of other tribes too. so don't tell me they were peaceful. native americans were some of the most brutal people ever. many of them would torture their captured enemies.

white people fight white people too. look at the history of england vs france. so rather then saying you know this race killed that race just say those people killed those other people. we are all humans and color has nothing to do with anything. back in the day having power and land and conquering other nations was a big thing and almost every country fought one another for supreme power. just like how the Romans way back in time gained world control. just like how gengkis khan took over all of asia.

    4. Why do they hate black people too then? black people had nothing to do with the taking over and killing of natives. In california theres never white gang vs mexican gang battles. The battles are mainly black gangs vs mexican gangs. even at my school there were no white gangs. At my school there were normal white, mexican, black, asian kids that would just be normal people and hang out.

then you had an area of the school that was ALL BLACK. and then you had a certain area of the school that was ALL LATINO. and many times throughout the year there was HUGE mexican vs black gang fights. like 20 on 20 and stuff. any latino walking home alone would get jumped by a blacks and any black guy walking alone would get jumped by latino's.

    5. The only white group you could really call a gang is BROS in southern california at least. most of them just motorbike and party. but the thing is lots of times you will a few mexican bros in any bro group anyway. so really bros don't like blacks but are cool with mexicans. and they are into the rural areas and desert mostly. they don't roam the streets and ghettos. Bros do like fighting though and are quick to use their fists if you get into a argument.

    6. Like I said I can link the sheriff reports from my local area to you. True whites are now the majority and latino's are 55% california population but the majority of assaults, shootings, burglaries, and drug crimes are latino. You cannot argue with a fact.

    7. I am not saying white people are not criminals. There plenty of stupid white people. I don't care if they are white or not they are pieces of crap and I could care less about a criminal. If a white guy goes and bashes a random latino that's he knows nothing about for no reason then that's horrible.

    8. Whites where I live don't band together like some community. Like I don't think just because someone's skin is white that I am connected with them. If you white big deal you are not something special to me.

    9. If natives are mad and want revenge for what happened 300 years ago then they should go invade spain. Spain is what took over california, arizona and texas.

    10. So far within 11 months there has only been 1 assault on a latino by whites because he was an illegal immigrant. so whites bashing "a wet back on saturday night" does not happen so much that they need gangs for protection.

We've been through all of this before, and being a descendant of the Cherokee who were here 15,000 years before your people came, I still don't buy your racist crap.

This kind of thinking, to me, seems exactly like the FBI targeting all "long hairs" because all "long hairs" are drug riddled rapists.

I've participated in two tea party rallies and although do not attach myself to a party, vote mostly republican. Does this make me a violent threat that needs to be locked up? No...I'm one of the most peace loving people you'll meet. Don't put so much faith in what the mainstream media tells you
