My parents are always like "you look like a hippy" or something... then my grandmother was like "hippy hair" or something... then my mom's friend (she's a beautician) joked about my hair and me going to see Crosby, Stills, and Nash concerts...

My parents say this too, but my dad doesn't seem to care anymore... my mom's always telling me that the 60s are over, which I respond with 'Thank you, Captain Obvious!' or 'Ya don't say?' and give her the big thumbs up

I'm always like "The 70s progressive rock movement and the 80s are over" to my dad... I like progressive, but it gets nervebending sometimes...

Well... Thin Lizzy... that metal stuff you know, I just don't care for that stuff. I can play the stuff on a Les Paul, but I just don't care for it.

I love Thin Lizzy, my dad and Phil Lynott used to hang out back in the day. But they weren't metal, they made good rock music!!

I like the neoclassical such as Yngwie Malmsteen. Very artistic. I like REO Speedwagon when it came to 70s and 80s stuff. Rush is good, but they're a little to progressive for my tastes, sometimes. Saw them in concert.
