American kids are drug addicted nut cases?

This particular professor, Jim Barrell, had been influenced by Eastern Philosophy, including Krishnamurti, so my views of human nature developed in that direction as a result. I left with a deep understanding of myself and human nature. I use the term "deep" because Jim Barrell's focus was on the basic traits we all share rather than the more superficial stuff that makes us look different. At a basic level we are all alike. It's the same basic nature that makes me a liberal and someone else a conservative, only experience makes us different. A paragraph from the web page probably explains it best:

I look up crystal meth via youtube and its evil this or addictive that. Its never helps lose Waite, boost immune system or combat ADHD in kids and adults.

Ah, ok it happens, but what about sporadic recreational use. Drugs can be a good pass time after work, its when its used dally it becomes awful.
Those "Faces of Meth" are purposely collected and concentrated in one place and put in the media to scare people from exploring their inner wildness.

Not in the sense that I counsel people, except when my friends ask for advice. I study people and culture, kinda like a hobby, except is seems to be my nature. It all started about 40 years ago when I wanted to know why people believe in gods.
