I have mild tourettes syndrome and am considering trying ecstasy for the first time this weekend. Does anybody have any experience with the use of ecstasy while having mild tourettes? I don't have any vocal ticks or anything too crazy, just an occasional head tick. The reason I ask is I know tourettes is a neurological disorder and I know Ecstasy effects the neurological system. Any thoughts?
I dont have tourettes but Have you taken any drugs before (including caffeiene and alcohol)? All psychoactive drugs are neurological. I would think ecstasy would not have much effect with the actual disorder if other drugs don't , the bigger issue to me would probably be to make sure the medication (if you take any) is ok to take when taking ecstasy.
I'd be interested in knowing what effects MDMA or the other things you mentioned have on the Tourette's syndrome.
