explain your true feelings about being alone

I enjoy being alone it gives me time to think, be creative, and enjoy not having anyone to talk to. When I am alone it gives me time to myself where i can just relax or go or do things that i enjoy. I am a social person but very picky about who I call friends and aquaintances. I really only have a handful of people i can call friends the rest are aquaintences.

whenever i start to get emotional for no reason it usually means i need time away from people/society. When I am alone i start to ask interesting questions, sew some interesting clothing. The main reason i enjoy being alone is because it gives me time to think and clear my head of any thoughts.

 

I REALLY prefer being alone. I stay in my room during the day, and come out to eat at night. I say maybe 10 words to my aunt and uncle all day. If I'm at work, I tend not to talk a lot either.

i went to the beach today again (third time in five days) with a really good friend..and it was so relaxing and enjoyable...it's been a nice week...when i go to the beach i cannot feel depressed or alone, i just feel so content...and hopefully the euphoria willlast a couple more days!
I have a cycle of "crazy" depression shit, and when im out of it, fuck i love life...what you're talking about moses is something i seek to attain in life ad hope i get it right this time! i just need to make the best choices in how i think...curb where my mind goes when im down, because it's so futile.
Colonzo, do you enjoy being alone? You asked the question but you didn't answer it... i guess you want someone special in your life to love, but you will always have the best person around -YOU! Make yourself feel good.

my true feelings about being alone is that i love being alone.

the happiest times in my life have been times when i have been utterly and completely alone.

not that there weren't one or two times i didn't feel totaly elated about it at the time. but those have always been times when there was something else about the aloneness that was either insecure or not entirely real. but those were really the rare exceptions.

and i've never ever been as unhappy alone as when i've had to endure the company of tedius unimaginative people who thought the world was going to end if they weren't the center of attention.

i only wish i could be alone more often and for longer at a time.

of course i supose to most people being alone means not having some one special in their life. for me, when i say being alone i mean utterly and completely alone. no neighbors, no coworkers, no straingers on the street, i mean out there by myself, no mind numbing coerciveness of human society to rob my meditations or chains of thought.

of course that doesn't mean being without natural or manufactured objects and artifacts. but then the only way it would be possible to be without any of either would be as a disembodied spirit and even then i suspect there are/would be equivelants.

a little of nature a little of tecnology or a little or a lot of either or both. dreaming and creating. dreaming not in some vague idle sense but more like meditating, designing and creating.

I'm so used to being alone but sometimes i get really sick of it.

 

I am my own best friend, quite a loner, though I always welcome company! It's not so much that I don't like being around people, because I always love to meet new people and spend the day with a friend(s), but rather, as somebody above mentioned, I enjoy solitutde. Just a personal preference

I'm tired of people who take advantage of your kindness, and shit on you in return. I know not everyone is like that, but I don't know where the good people are. I'd love to be social again, if I could find people that are decent.

 

I enjoy being alone or with Ben. I don't really like hanging out with people just my family, Ben, and maybe Catherine.

hmmm...do you mean like existentially alone in the universe, or alone right this minute because my husband is at work?

i like to spend time alone. i start to feel smothered if i have to be too sociable for very long.

for me one of the cool things about my relationship with my husband is that it's better than being alone, and yet without all the pressure to be fake and entertain him. it's um...i guess the word would be effortless (well, not always, but you know what i mean). the thing that bothers me about hanging out with other people is that it always seems like so much WORK.

 

I like being on my own..being with people gets annoying...I have a low tolerance for people in general...

as for being alone romantically..I've had my fair share of that..and it sucks..insanely

 

being alone is great, although lately I havent had much opportunity to do that.
