'twas the waverly sanatorium on ghost adventures last week and the stanley hotel tonight - they've really got some great locations lined up for the new season!

i wonder if TAPS is gonna step it up with this kind of fierce competition?

Most Haunted is so fake that it makes me suspicious about all the others, including Ghost Hunters, which is the only one that seems to have any chance of being legit to me.

i can dig what you're saying - Most Haunted has some great locations, but i do tend to doubt their investigative ability

Ghost Hunters is definitely legit, but what bugs me is that as soon as they make contact with a spirit, they move onto the next room(s) without even trying to have a real conversation or ask those all important questions - "let's hope the IR cams and digital recorders pick something up while we're gone", ugh!

random episode of any of the above mentioned shows:

Guy speaking up close to the camera in night vision: "I just felt something rub against my leg! did you hear that? It was like a chill came over the room just now! Lets get outta here this is too creepy!"

    BAM! Proof of ghosts!

My personal favorite is Ghost Hunters. Out of all the shows I have seen in this category, Ghost Hunters (and Ghost Hunters International) are the least melodramatic, and therefore more believable.

lol Ghost Adventures is the stupidest show, but it's my guilty pleasure. I can't even explain why I like it, I know how dumb and dramatic it is, and they take it waaay too seriously, I just lol the whole show. Plus I have an equally shameful and inexplicable dork crush on Zak Bagans. He's a dorky meathead with stupid hair but he's hot in spite of how dumb he is ;)

I like Ghost Hunters. I have not seen Ghost Adventures. Ghost Lab was ridiculous...all they did was shout insults at any supposed ghosts. Assuming a ghost were present, why would it bother with such rude loudmouths?

i can dig it!....i often wonder why any self respecting ghost would talk to half of these people with the approach they use :)

although, someone mentioned to me that the ghost lab guys may be shouting to make themselves heard in the ghosts' world......it's said in evp work, that even when the ghosts are shouting into the recorder, it usually comes across as a whisper

ghost adventures is more "in your face" investigation than ghost hunters "family oriented" environment

I like both of the shows, but I prefer ghost adventures. For me, Ghost Hunters has gone downhill alot. My family usually makes it a "ghostly show nite" it makes it funner. Then we compare what we hear with what the group on the specific show hears or what they think they hear.
