So I've been thinking about drug trends in my town, not just within the certain small communities that know what anything we discuss around here is, but the general drug-taking populace. There's always one particular drug that goes through a current cycle where it is the easiest to sell and the most common to see people doing. I'm trying to find out if there's some sort of relationship between the cycles of other cities and whether there's a correlation between the type of drug, the length of the cycle and what the next drug will be (or what class of drugs the next one will come from). This is more just out of interest in the drug scenes of other cities, but also to see if there might be a way to predict the class of drug that will be the next one, to buy low and sell high... In my area, Montreal, The previous cycle has been MDMA -> Mushrooms -> Ketamine (and ketamine's been going on for a while Since K is the current drug of choice around here, it's been incredibly profitably, like hundreds of dollars a day on a good day, it's so cheap, and sells soo fast you'll have to restock before the end of the night, and you'll make lots of money because everyone's into dubstep and just pays 5$ for big bumps. For some reason k seems to go very well with dubstep and I think the music cycles and drug cycles might be similar... So in all the years I've done or sold drugs in Montreal, the cycles have almost always gone stimulant -> psychedelllic -> downer or something chilled out (was booze/benzos, now is K) SO how do the drug cycles go in your city, or is it totally random, does the current fantasy affect the price, supply/demand of one particular drug all the time, a class of drugs, or many? How long do they last? And what is your city's current fantasy?
No real drug cycles here,cocaine,crystal meth,weed,and heroin are always used by a number of people,although some prefer one drug to the others of course. The availability of all these drugs is pretty much always avilable , but if there is a large drug bust,aka a 1000 kilos of cocaine or a bunch of dealers of heroin or meth busted then that makes the other dealers nervous so it makes it more time consuming to find these drugs unless you have a good connection that knows you,but except for weed and coke,you can't buy heroin or crystal meth on the corners from just any dealer,these drugs are more of a inside call and deliver or go to the dudes house to buy,because of the risks and the various types of users backgrounds..
Here in Southern California, San Diego weed is #1 pretty much always available. I would say ecstasy and cocaine go through cycles here as its a fairly fast paced, fast living, wealthy and materialistic city its not surprising about those drugs. Ketamine is around but not as prevalent as a few years ago when it was easier to just drive 45 mins over the border and get it from Mexico. Crystal Meth is used in specific areas of the city but I do not use it myself so I don't know the availability or cycles. Hallucinogens have been hard to come by since I moved here. Were pratically a marijuana and cycling stimulant city If were counting alcohol that is a huuuge part of the scene down here. San Diego is well known for its bar scene.
