I have access to buy 60 x 90mg pills for $85 bucks, and I know its a barbituate (which seemed to be the benzos of the 60s and 70s) but there's not much info on bluelight bout it. has anyone tried it, and how would it care to the benzo-like aspects?
a.k.a. "Reds" from what i heard its nothing like benzos, a lot of people ended up in the hospital from those back in the 60's because they smashed a car or smashed their head on something. Serious downers! thats my 2 cent
pheno barb was not "reds" (that was seconal or Lily f40's). phenos were yellow jackets, the weakest of the barbs. PLEASE DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL when taking these. I lost several friends to mixing barbs back then. It's very easy to OD on any barb if you mix or take too much. The stongest was tuinal (rainbows or bullets), and so many died I don't think they even make it any more.
They are much stronger than benzos, make you do crazy stuff you wouldn't normally do. Also you can have a complete black out yet still be walking and talking. You can fall asleep while smoking a cigerette and burn your fingers. You can trip over your own feet and fall down stairs. You can have sex with someone you don't know or even like. You can generally act like a drunk...just like there are mean drunks and happy drunks it is like that with downers. Also you are prone to get agressive. Pretty much you lose all inhibitions. How do I know all this? I was a red freak in early 70's and frankly don't know how I lived through it. I have a couple scars to prove it. I loved them becuase I was immature and they were a good escape, and am glad they are not around much anymore. The high is good if you don't overdo (which is very easy to do becuase you forget how much you did and keep on taking them.) Yellow jackets aren't as strong as reds or rainbows but still any barb is a different and more dangerous game than any benzo. So please a lot of caution. Do not keep your whole stash out or you will keep eating them. DON'T DRINK, DON'T DRIVE....you will think you can handle it but you can't.
oh yeah I`m highly experienced with benzos so Ive had my share of disasters (and more importantly know how to prevent them now rather than my naive days) but my tolerance now just is absurd - takes me 100mg of diazepam, or 10mg of xanax to get fucked up, and no Im not addicted in any way physically to them, just doing them 1-3 times a week for half a year brings a horrible tolerance.
yeah I have a high tolerance to benzos too. I take 50 mgs of valium and don't feel it. Actually I don't like benzos anymore after stopping an addiction to xanax. I still take 1 mg kpin a day as i feel i am permently messed up physically from years of benzo use and need that to feel normal. I think it ruins your threshold for anxiety if you take them too long. Remember your benzo tolerance will have nothing to with barbs (I'm sure you know this) so start easy. Phenos aren't really strong so if you want the true barb experience get Seconals but only get enough for one time as you really don't want to go down that road too often.
Sounds just like benzos. lol People have gotten that way on fewer milligrams of alprazolam/lorazepam/clonazepam/etc than with pheno though, and I can confirm that shit. I've taken phenobarbital and it barely did shit to me. For the amount of pheno I took, the same amount of xanax would've had me blacked out and blowing marijuana smoke in a cop's face with a phatass grin on my face. Phenobarbital ain't shit.
damn you don't think it's worth the deal? from what I've read pheno is much longer acting than other barbs, what was your dose?
TopNotch I agree with you to an extent. pheno is the weakest barb as I mentioned a few times. But I have never had a blackout from benzos (I've IM'd too), and I have from barbs so maybe it depends on the person. The only reason I posted with this is because I have had experience with tuinal, seconal and phenobarbital. There is a lower lethal dose with barbs than with benzos, and alchohol enhances that danger even more. If I was doing these drugs pheno would not be my drug of choice, seconal would be though.
I can't remember. I just remember it was four phenobarbital pills from two sample blister packs from the doctor a few years ago. They also had caffeine in them, if I remember correctly. I'd rather just eat a couple dozen milligrams of xanax. Fuck the bullshit. lol
