I'm trying to paraphrase 12,000 words worth of paragraphs and I haven't written anything all day and now I feel stupid for sitting here for so long when it hasn't been working when I could have been doing something more productive... *brain stops* WTF is more productive than trying to do my dissertation AAHH

Some charity helping out of work actors, Part time admin job. Got declined because they thought I'd leave at the drop of a hat for a full time position elsewhere.

So now I'm stuck. There's plenty of care work around but I have a sensitive gag reflex and the mere sight of a bit of dribble/poo/blood would have me wretching vigorously in public.

Can't you tell them that there are no full time positions? And do you really see alot of blood/poo(apart from wiping bottoms.. do you even do that? 0.o) in care? 0.o

I don't think they'll care. If they want to hire a chump that thinks 'alot' is one word then that's their choice, besides I did only really apply to gain contacts in the art world I need a full time job anyway, it was only for 3 mornings a week after all.

I presume that 'care work involving personal caring' means you're caring for people who have personal hygiene issues and are too old to wipe their own arses/dress themselves.

Whilst HDH holds amazing people skills she does not cope well with personal care. Also, once while waiting in a queue, someone with Down Syndrome did a loud, wet sounding fart, HDH wretched so hard. My sister in law was a carer once and she had to clean old man dick.

I just don't get why people up north were offering me jobs left right and centre which I couldn't take due to moving and companies down here won't even bring me in for interviews.

Had an interview for a job I dont really care about getting. More money Vs getting this degree done quicker.

I wouldn't mind so much if there wasn't this bullshit wisdom about engineers having an expiry date.

Went for an interview to be an order picker.
I'm not hopeful I'll get the job.

I mean the way he was talking was like I'd gotten the job and I asked at the end 'so does this mean I got the job?' and he said no because he had a lot of other people to see but being from Bolton like him, would work in my favour.

I suspect he thought HDH was ful of her self.

Am I a shoe in or does he not want to hire me? He said he'd be in touch but didn't say when...

For five years I tried to stretch my lobes and they just rejected it so I gave up. Meh, I love my pearl earrings!
