Frank Zappa was a god, though a demented one. I saw him in concert twice in the 70s and was blown away.

  7. Just don't eat it! This is really weird. I was listening to the mothers this morning for the first time in ages and here's a thread about them. Coincidence or what?

The first time was with the band he put together for Overnite Sensation, Apostrophe, Roxy & Elsewhere, and One Size Fits All. Best band he ever had, and it was mind bogglingly good. The second time he teamed up with Captain Beefheart for their Bongo Fury tour, not quite as good but still awesome. Zappa was a great showman.
