    Hello everyone,
I have been trying to increase my psychic abilities by meditating, doing yoga and just asking/praying I suppose. Anyway this past spring I was going through a tough time at work and decided to start my own business. At that same time I had this image and heard throughout the day for about 2 weeks this rumbling landslide. I had a dream of it. And then heard it throughout the day for said 2 weeks. I didn't have any idea of what it could mean until I looked it up. It said great things were coming my way. I was more scared than excited as the landslide seemed soooo emotional. My whole life felt like a slide was happening.... I was terrified and could feel my kundalini rising as I was almost manic with my emotions and psych.
Then I got a call 2 weeks after the dream from a previous client asking if I wanted to move into a farmhouse they just bought to be a live in caretaker!! Ever since then its been marvelous! Well I guess the dream and my ability to sense the landslide helped me. I think this shows that people can predict events or atleast sense them.

So, do you think being psychic is just a matter of predicting patterns in life??
In my case something was going to happen.

being psychic is the ability to look along the timeline (past, present, future) at all potential reality threads and sensing which one will manifest in our current existence; being able to step outside the norms of verbal communication and speak mind to mind

your definition is much more concise though :)

Well: It's more than predicting patterns. It can be seeing through someone else's eyes - literally. It can be knowing that something is happening far away, as it's happening, with no prior warning. It can be seeing something or someone far away, with no prior knowledge of what they even look like. These are few examples of things I've experienced that don't seem to fall in the category of predicting patterns.

yeah, that's the "speaking mind to mind" thing i was talking about - the ability to access the Akashic Records/Collective Consciousness and all that good stuff :)

all things are mind. all one needs to do to get closer to truth is push the boundaries of the mind to the edge of incoherence. also, the longer your mind is of a certain expanded state, the more capable it is to interpret what was once regarded as incoherent as meaningful. eventually, after a long intense transformative experience on the edge of ego death, the mind is by far wiser and remains what may be considered a functioning mind. go too fast, and for a while nothing will make sense... at least until the frontiers of your mind catch up.

being psychic is about being in tune with the nature of the earth and its conscious nature

the earth and the universe is conscious.

so when you are psychic, you too are tapping in to this consciousness of the universe - thats why you can predict things before they happen

I myself wwould call that a form of a precognitive dreaming.

I once dreamed my house was burning down--wasn't house in the end,, was relationship heading for flames.

I have learned to listen to my dreams, especially those I remember.

    Good Luck

Now, to talk about my own "talents" or whatever.

I have one friend I'm very connected with, that I can actually do "remote healing" for him by phone.

And lately, someone who has been out of my thoughts for 21 years popped up, much to my surprise:eek:, and lately, what he is "saying" is getting clearer, but it depends on the moon phase for both of us, on a full moon he can be trying to "transmit" words or images so fast I have to tell him, "slow down"

Has anyone else experienced mind to mind communication like this?

I'm not afraid of it, but right now its a bit confusing:confused: after 21 years of NOTHING!

    All feedback would be appreciated

Oh and BTW we both have Celtic blood

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure if it's a spirit guide calling me-talking to me. I only get Two Words "PROVE IT"

Prove what and to whom. I think it is someoneone I know, also of Celtic blood.

The term is kything--and old Scottish term=Author Madeline L'Engle used it in her quartet of time books (A wrinkle in Time etc-which I read EEEK over 30 years ago)

A description of kything is in Wkipedia if you want more info (scuse apelling-didn't sleep well)

Celtic blood isn't necessary - human blood is sufficient. ;)

Kything is pretty much what my spirit guides do with me. I can't do it with them, however I did it once with my wife many years ago, only for a few moments, which is how I know from my own experience that it's possible.

I can't tell you what it is you're supposed to prove. You would be the best person to determine that, from your own thoughts and desires. I will tell you this: It sounds very much like something one of my spirit guides would say to me to make a point or steer me in a certain direction. Most likely it has something to do with a desire of your own, either conscious or latent.

Are you in physical contact with the person you suspect of being the transmitter? If so have you asked him about this?

I have not seen the person I SUSPECT is transmitting for over 2 years--and back then he really acted scared of me and never said hi or anything (at that time was crack addict, extremely paranoid)

I think the "Prove IT" I'm hearing is a reaction to me telling him by thought that I still care--after 24 years.

So I am listening carefully for the whatever the heck it is I'm supposed to prove--He's a commercial fisherman and the only other word I heard clearly was "footlocker"

(Only where the heck do you put a footlocker on a 25 foot halibut boat???)

As for what goes in a footlocker-well thats not hard-can't forget the "medicinal rum" thats easy, so I have been perusing the Internet for info on footlockers, and feeling very silly, because My Grampa immigrated to Canada on a whaler and my Uncle Bill was in the Navy-I should know these things-guess I'll go check Wikipedia-and I ordered Madeline L'Engle books from the library this morn.

As for talents and desires it is one of my silly latent talents to be able to build and fill a footlocker, and the desire to prove I care is definitely still there

Will be in touch. Thanks for your help--Think about a fisherman's footlocker and see what thoughts you have (don't worry, I'm not forgetting a Bible and personal grooming gear)

Thanks for your help so far.

    HUGS
    Lois

    Footlocker, huh? Hmmm...

I don't know a helluva lot about footlockers. Can you make one in a size that would work in a 25-foot halibut boat? Is it possible he has a new boat now?

Or: Is it possible it's needed elsewhere than in the boat?

Other thoughts: When you saw him two years ago, did you say hi to him?

What would happen if you called him up - he has a phone? - and said something like: "I've been thinking about you lately, and for some reason when I do I keep thinking about a footlocker. Is that something you need?"

I don't know that I've really been that much help, but you're welcome anyway. :D I've tried "looking" at you two in my mind - nothing specific comes to me, but the feeling I get is of a warm interaction.

It has been years since I read the Madeline L'Engle books, and I barely remember them now. Maybe they would bear re-reading in light of more recent events in my life.

Please do let me know how it's going, if you remember. :)

    Hugs back to you,
    Richard

LOL, I don't know much about footlockers either. Have seen the military type, have emailed Maritime Museum here for what would be in a sailors footloocker.

The 25 ft. halibut boat IS his "New" boat.

He made the mistake of leasing his $1 million + 65 ft purse seiner to a jerk who brought in Afghani hash with it AND, of course the dumb @#$%^&*
    got caught.

I said HI two years ago, never got an answer, just a pure panic reaction like he'd seen a ghost-at that point I hadn't seen him for 18 years.

Don't have a phone # for him, and don't want to use phone-want to talk in person.

So asking him questions is out of the question.

And WHY if he's so scared of me-is he carrying on kything with me????

As for needing a footlocker other than on the boat, Well he's past the age for acceptance into military and has at least 2 BIG blots on his adult criminal record.

Know he was a hell-raiser at school, he went to a private school that my Dad was the security guard at.

He is "black sheep of the family" basically

As for making a small footlocker to keep essentials in, I can make one, first though I think I will go down to the commercial dock and look at one boat that is similar-will need to take measuring tape.

I am SCARED of him taking that little boat out to the open water on our West Coast-look up a map of Vancouver Island--open water from there to Hawaii on our West Coast

    SCARY shit in bad weather.

Lost a provincial ferry between Queen Charlotte Islands and Port Hardy here about 7 years ago.

    MEAN WATER-terrible in storms

Unless he has a death wish-sure hope not.

Don't even know where his boat is, not going to look either. Do know he drives Silver Dodge club cab truck, has common-law female & 2 boys, but I have sensed unease where his female is concerned and sometimes when I "look" at what he's doing, I do not see her:confused:

WEIRD experience. Have started assembling toothpaste, soap,
toothbrush-things that go in a footlocker for personal care--and I may be making a damn fool of myself, but am going to knit fisherman's jersey and watch cap.

    Following gut instinct

    Lois
PS. PLEASE read Madeliene L'Engle, I have to, gotta figure this out

Yeah Lois, I dunno...I go out on a limb quite a bit based on stuff in my mind with no physical evidence - but what you're doing is further out than I've ever gone, I believe. I'll be extremely interested to see what happens - not only for the ending to your story, but also as a possible confirmation of my own experiences.

And I'm curious as well about the kything (that's a good word, btw - quite succinct), and why he would be doing that if he's scared of you...are you sure you read his reaction right when you saw him? There are lots of things I don't understand about kything...who can do it, why they can do it, why others can't do it, why my spirit guides can but I've only done it once with one person for a few moments and never again...so whatever you learn from this episode might be helpful to me.

I'll see if I can locate those books.

Oh, that reminds me of another book you might find interesting - Stranger in a Strange Land, by Robert Heinlein.

Maybe I didn't read the reaction right-maybe it was just like "OMG, she's still hanging out on the wharf???"

I know I'm going out on a limb: A-W-A-Y out there.

And I can't kythe with another female-have tried, doesn't work. I can repel another female away from a guy I want (sometimes) but it's very energy draining.

At least my late night chatterbox is quiet at the moment--he isn't fishing this year, the family company needs him in an office at their hotel because his Daddy died last summer.

Maybe I'm getting a signal for something he wants when he goes fishing again?

    Time will tell.

In any case I had a great time this morn puttering around the Sally Ann thrift store and had lunch down at the Bay because I had heard that someone was working on my "pet" boat-"Duby C"

Looks like they're getting her ready to sell or use next year, bunch of her gear is back on.

I'll miss her, but I'll just find another boat to "baby-sit" I like sweeping decks and doing "Boatkeeping 101" as I call it.

Have a great day-and I've read Stranger in a strange Land-it was loaned to me by another friend who does kything.

    Thanks
    HUGS

I've gotten telepathic words from other men, but I prefer mentally hanging with women...I suppose there's a reason for that. :D

So please tell me, Lois: When YOU say kything - are you talking about you yourself being in someone else's head and experiencing their thoughts, seeing through their eyes, etc? Or are you just talking about telepathic stuff - getting pictures and words in your mind?

And also: It appears that you can identify the person you're connecting to - how? Do you just know? Or do you get a mental image of their face or something?

For me, I know that some people are completely in my mind experiencing with me. But all I get from them is words and sometimes mental pictures. The words are in complete sentences though - fairly substantial communications, though they often seem to be purposely obtuse.

Well a little bit of both, I won't say thoughts precisely, but more like feelings and emotions-and I THINK I saw him frying bacon & eggs once, but its more like I'm standing beside or behind him somewhere.

As for knowing WHO, it's like a tickle in the back of my head somewhere starts and I take a mental peek at him and he's usually awake and oh yeah, a definite mental image of the face, but as I knew him 20+ years ago-not as he is now, why I don't know-unless he's got some sub-concious guilt thing happening about the mistakes he's made in that time.

Besides the footlocker, I get a mental image of a workshirt he used to wear on the boat and a denim jacket with a corduroy collar he used to wear in the bar.

It's getting too weird sometimes and I have to tune him out.

Until the day we can talk face to face and put an end to the "bad terms" we parted on years ago,I don't want to talk to him. (I was writing a novel using his BIG fishboat as a setting-he told me to destroy it and never write again)

I'm not into getting yelled at when ALL I want is peace--and some quiet in my head.

    Hope you understand
    Lois

Hope I understand? You mean, understand why you can't talk to him on the phone - why you have "bad terms" of parting? Oh sure, that's perfectly clear. To tell someone to destroy a creative work that incorporates something dear to the person saying it seems to be deliberately hurtful. Not very loving. I guess he was pissed at you for some reason, but that's no excuse, and seems to be a particularly hurtful way of saying "go away and don't come back."

You're saying he yells at you now in your head? Well that's certainly not pleasant. Obviously you'd need a break from that.

I didn't intend to pry this much into your personal affairs - thank you for the gift of your openness. It's helpful for me to see other people's experiences in the areas of psychic relationships, to compare with my own.

It does kinda sound like you two have some definite unfinished business. Maybe he realizes that, too.

You'll be in my thoughts, Lois.

No, he doesn't yell in my head-but if I phoned him he would. But I don't have a # for him and I don't want want one!.

He is fine according to his Mum, I saw her in the grocery store about 2 weeks ago.

Picture of his 1st boat attached--ANSARE ll ,,,,,Andrea, Samuel and Reed, the boat was named for them, they all carried stock in it (family has $$$$$)

Reed is the one who can kythe, youngest child, black sheep of the family--and of course he's the best looking of the two boys in the family.

His sis is like a total Business chick-google "Executive House Hotel", Victoria B.C.--damn fine hotel (pricey too of course), older brother Sam is an artist, had his own biz selling prints and greeting cards, I have 5 of the cards.

Sam's really good natured, really nice and always has a smile for me.

His Mum used to be okay too, but when I mentioned him having another fishboat she told me I was wrong (BS-I had talked to DFO that morn) but I just smiled sweetly and let her lie-and said how rumors get out of hand sometimes.

Why fight with her over it? But gee she had a strange look on her face momentarily first (ROFL)

    Take care.Thanks for the input.

For the next few days I am going to relax--he must be away somewhere, no nagging in my head last night:)

    HUGS
