When i was working in a very fast city i was always lacking sleep, one day i told i would throw everything and just went home to rest and sleep, when i finally got a chance, something happened and i was in huge pressure to deal , could not sleep again........until i was very sick in body and went to hospital, doctors treated me and warned me to stop any work. Now my body is recovered, but my brain is still so slow to recover, I m doing meditation, but the brain is still like automatical machine, i m scared....are there anyone with similar experiences or ideas to cure this kind of brain system, and make it calm and rest, and make it peace and healthy again?
    Thanks .a lot.

you need to find an activity that quiets your brain. mine is either doing something so daring and adventurous that your brain has no time to think and instead can only process on a primal, sensory level what is going on around you; or something that engages all your senses on a much quieter, mellower level. motorcycles get me on the daring level, camping or just hanging out in nature in general gets me on the quiet, still level.

also, pot. lots and lots of pot.

It always takes me a while for my mind to calm itself when I leave the city, meditation can help you to relax and settle your mind, but it can also teach you to just be aware of the thoughts and acknowledge them, rather than fret about your mind not being entirely peaceful. Even with a calm when, you don't have to chase thoughts away through meditation, but notice them. For me, I become more restless and worked up when I try and erase everything. It can take a while, but it isn't always a bad thing.

a good way to cure the brain is to enhance your nutrition and get regular exercise.

this will help you to feel good inside and see the positive side of life. without this, nothing is possible. positivity is the key to success
