well kinda false advertisement, isn't it? saying Stoner Metal, on a Metal forum, and then posting a bunch of Rock

 

The term stoner metal is generally applied to stoner rock that crosses over with a certain kind of metal like doom or, with a band like Orange Goblin also at times heavy metal. Pretty solid term but yeah sometimes only applicable on part of a stonerrock band's discography so it gets pretty vague in the end... It contains good music though

I think the main thing is the crossover part. Stoner rock on itself is for a large part about the fuzzy guitars already.

 

I guess the line between metal and rock in the "stoner" subgenre is a little.. Fuzzy, get it? FUZZY!! ahahahahaha im good..

anyways nobody agrees with me about the grunge metal thing so why should this be any different...

Yes, it is ONE of the factors among many. You don't have to classify it as metal.
